Good idea but needs prep and help applying
No instructions, difficult to apply and lasted long enough for an extended visit but eventually came off.I would unroll the guard and lay it flat for a day with weight (between a mattress and box spring?), clean the door and frame with alcohol and let completely dry, and perhaps have a 2nd pair of hands to hold it in place while the first applies it into position.
Literally came with no instructions on how to use it
This door pinch guard literally came with no instructions on how to use it. The listing has some visual aids but the package itself came with a thicker roll and a thinner roll that you are supposedly able to stick onto the back of a door to prevent your toddler/baby from pinching their fingers. There is an adhesive strip on both sides of the roll that you can stick to the door – I don’t know if it will leave any damage or residue behind when its removed later on. Also for the price, you get very little material. I would not recommend this product.
Great way to protect little hands
This is a great way to keep your baby and your kids safe when they are shutting doors sometimes they have a tendency to grab the whole outside of the door and shut it and get their fingers caught. This helps to prevent that you can stick it to the wall and the door and it bends when the door opens and then been shut when it closes. Great way to keep them protected much better than the foam pieces that you can stick on the doors because it actually fully covers the opening.
Does the job
The material is a good thickness and it flexes nicely. It feels as it can handle a lot of door movement. The adhesive sticks well. A simple design and concept but for the price, you only get 2 so I feel it’s a bit on the pricey side. I feel like I could make something like this myself, at a fraction of the cost, especially since I have so many doors.

I first saw his product at my kids daycare centre. This is absolutely awesome! This has saved my daughter from accidentally pinching her fingers in the hands while we play hide and seek in the house.Very easy to install, simply peel off red tape, and align sides to the door. There is two pieces in the box one for the wider opening and one for the smaller opening of each side of the door.If you are a household with multiple small children, I do recommend getting one or two boxes just to see how it is for you! I used mine on a door that the kids frequently open and close in the house and where they like to play. Gives you a piece of mind!
