Individually Wrapped Encased Coils
Made in-house without ANY glues or adhesives!
Naturepedic manufactures its own encased coils to ensure quality and durability. High carbon-content steel, heat-tempering and extra turns ensure long lasting durability and exceptional comfort support characteristics.
Encased coils are also super-breathable, providing a space for heat to dissipate as compared to all-foam designs. Encased coils also drastically reduce motion transfer. By wrapping each coil in its own pocket, movements and vibrations become isolated and dampened.

I wish I had this mattress honestly! Itâs the perfect height and firmness for my daughterâs first twin-size mattress. A little bit of an odor when we got it, but I donât notice it now (5 months in). I feel really good about the fact that itâs made with natural materials. (We are a fragrance free, no plastic home.)
Bought one of these for my older son when he graduated from his toddler bed. He loves it. I love it.Such a great hit for him, bought another for my younger son last week. Same reaction. Great sleep. Great mattress.Not sure about the reviews complaining about odors. Both my mattresses smell great – no smell at all! I’m so impressed with these mattresses, I’m buying one for myself when our current mattress is up for replacement.Love that it’s organic. Love that it’s no chemicals. Love that my boys love it.Win. We were very excited about this mattress as it is advertised as made with high quality materials and no off gassing of harmful chemicals. So imagine our surprise when we opened the bag and the smell was so overpowering, we took it out of our toddlerâs room right away yet the smell stayed there for another couple of hours. My eyes were watery within minutes and my nose got runny. Iâm very glad our toddler never got near it.The room we took it to so it could air out hoping it would fix the problem, became unbearably stinky.I thought something had to be off because this was supposedly made with good materials. I figured it must have been a fluke, perhaps it was mold or mildew on it from storage to have given me watery eyes and runny nose. Thanks to Amazonâs GREAT customer service, they shipped us a new one (I still have to go through the hassle of taking this to the UPS to return), but the new one, which wasnât even unpacked yet had the exact same smell).Iâll now have to go through the hassle of returning not one, but TWO mattresses (and back to searching for a good mattress for my toddler. Should have asked the moms in my FB community what theyâre using before I went through this – but will make sure to warn them to skip this one.
Got this for our daughterâs first big-girl bed. She loves it, sleeping great on it from the first night. And we love knowing that itâs organic, etc. Ready-to-use right away with no off-gassing, etc.
We bought this mattress for our 3-year-old who was switching to a âbig girl bed,â and one week into the transition, we can safely say we love it! Unpacking was really easy, and there was no chemical smell at all. My daughter loves it and has been sleeping very soundly – and she spends so much time in it that I feel really glad knowing it has no chemicals that could be bad for her. Also, I knew firm mattresses were best for kids, but I was a little worried that it wouldnât be comfortable for me to sit on when I read stories with my daughter. But somehow this mattress manages to feel very soft when youâre sitting on it, but if I lie down, I can feel how firm it is. Best of both worlds! Even my nanny saw me taking the photos for this review and said, âYes! You should write a review! This mattress is really great!â
