ZKC

The Zen Sack Classic provides gentle pressure that mimics your reassuring embrace where babies are naturally held. This creates a secure feeling for babies that prevents wakeups from sleep regressions and facilitates self-soothing, resulting in deeper periods of sleep that are so essential for healthy development.

WeightWeight

The safely weighted Zen Sack Classic is scientifically designed for uninterrupted comfort while babies sleep. The sleep sack’s Cuddle Pad safely soothes a baby with only a few ounces while sleeping. A recent university-led research study indicates that the Zen Sack is perfectly calibrated and its safely weighted design maintains healthy levels of Oxygen saturation and pulse rate, does not cause overheating and babies can move freely during sleep, making it the safe alternative to all-weighted sleepwear.

Reviews

  1. Love this sleep sac
It’s such a great fabric. Not to heavy. But great to feel like theirs a hand on her to make her feel safe and warm. We have 4 of these as well love them so much. Great price!!!

  2. Helped my baby so much
Our baby usually wakes up once or twice during the night and we normally comfort him by talking and rubbing his back, with this product on the first night he slept right thru the night. Awesome product!

  3. Great
My 6 month old loves it! It seems to be helping him sleep for longer stretches anf he is able to self soothe back to bed. He used to be up on the hour before.

  4. They’re really worth it!
I bought two of these as our little one transitioned from the live to dream sleep sacks and they’re pretty great. There are two levels of snaps at the top to grow with your baby’s size, and the zipper that is two-way and runs all along the side and bottom like a “J”.In regards to other reviews: Yes, this like every other swaddle or sleep sack out there can cause SIDS. That’s where it is up to responsible parenting to use the sizing chart for accuracy and make sure that you’re laying them on their back if they can’t roll, using a breathable mattress, and/or monitoring them. I don’t think the whole “BUYER BEWARE” is necessary and well overused, but just take proper precautions.Aside from the other reviews, I truly love this. The bean is very lightweight but weighted enough that it mimics my hand resting on my baby’s chest. The Zen classic is for all seasons, and baby just needs to be dressed appropriately to stay warm or cool (which is easy enough – follow the recommended guidelines for dressing a baby in certain temps). If you try it and don’t like it, just send it back.

  5. Perfect for babies
We hired a sleep consultant for our daughter at 6 months and she suggested a weighted sleep sack. We went with nested bean and from the first night on, our daughter has slept through the night. We previously tried everything else but my baby simply wilder stay asleep for longer than an hour or so. This is like a blanket that fits perfectly over baby. We always have her in a long sleeve when she’s in her sack. These also contribute to safe sleeping for baby since they can’t have blankets in the crib Our daughter is 16 months now and still sleeping soundly through the night. This is the only brand of sleep sacks that we use.

  6. Product came with a bunch of stains. Not impressed!sed

  7. 🤌🏼
I used this same sleep sack for my baby when she was between 3-6 months old. When it was time to size up, it was really a no brainer to buy the same brand. Although quite pricey it’s worth it for us as my baby sleeps well in it. We had to go a couple of nights without a sleep sack and it was miserable. When I could finally get her into this, she went back to sleeping all night again. FYI, just because it works for my baby doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for yours. That’s the joy of baby products lol

  8. My baby loves it!
Super light material for summer, seems to work great for my baby as soon as I put it on her at night she goes to sleep great wearing it!

  9. My little one loved being swaddled, but started fighting her arms out and later rolling so we had to do away with it. During that time, we also had to transition her to her crib. We had been struggling with that transition and she would very frequently wake up shortly after being placed in her crib (we are still working on getting her to fall asleep on her own). We tried various other sleep sacks (Halo, Zipadeezip, Love to Dream Swaddleup), but none of them really helped her sleep situation. She was sleeping in about 3 hour increments during the night, if that. Since starting to use this weighted zen sack approximately a week ago, she is now sleeping 4-6 hour increments during the night. I took a leap of faith on this product and I highly recommend it for the parents who have tried other sleep sacks with little or no improvement.

  10. I’m pretty sure this is a knock off of the original. Like other reviewers said it only has one button snap instead of the two pictured on nested bean website. It was very loose fitting and my daughter is a very big 6 month old. I felt like the quality was not up to par for the price. I went directly to nested bean website and purchased one for $3 cheaper and free shipping so I will compare when that one arrives and give an update. Returning this oneUpdate: I don’t believe the ones sold on here are knock offs. I purchased one off the nested bean site and they are exactly the same with only one button. They should change their website picture showing double buttons. But it was $3 cheaper directly from the site. That being said this has not helped my 6 month old. I wish it fit snugger around her chest so it didn’t ride up near her neck. If it was snugger then maybe the beans would lay closer to her body as well. I will keep it just as a sleep sack and possibly remove the beans like other reviewers did.

  11. My baby is a belly sleeper, so he wears this backwards, and I will honestly say I absolutely love it! It definitely helps him stay asleep after putting him down. He randomly jerks his body parts sometimes and usually it wakes him up but the weight of this helps him feel I guess held down but in a good way. I recommend trying it out, just keep in mind there’s a lot of factors that attribute to a baby sleeping longer stretches. Comfort, while it is one of the factors, isn’t all of it. But that may bethe one more factor your baby needs. Their customer setvice is great, if you need help with your baby sleeping they will give you tips and advice to pair with their sleep sacks.

  12. I’ve never written an amazon review before! I bought this sleep sack after our guy was in the zipadee-zip sleep sack as a transition out of the swaddle for a couple weeks. He was doing pretty well at putting himself to sleep but was still taking short naps and waking up at least twice a night. When I went back to work, he started waking up 3 hours after going to bed instead of the 5 hours he had been doing before. I decided to try this sack after seeing so many ads and realizing that putting a hand on his chest really did calm him down in the middle of the night. We are two nights in and the first night he slept 7 hours before waking, the second 6 hours. And he has only woken up 1 time instead of 2! In addition, our short napper (35-45 minutes) is currently almost 90 minutes into his mid-morning nap in the zen sack. Maybe this all coincided with his natural progression, but I really believe this sack helped SO much! Thank you!

  13. I purchased this for my 5 month old that worked wonders up until about a week ago when she started rolling over on her stomach. However, I did not realize until looking up that Nested Bean suggests that you can actually put it on your baby backward! As per the Nested Bean website:”For tummy sleepers, we recommend putting the Zen Sack on backwards, so the weighted pad rests gently on your baby’s back instead of their chest! However, this is only safe for babies who can roll over and back independently. … Yes, our Zen Swaddle® can be done with your baby’s arms out!”This is great because now she can use it much longer than the one week that she only used it before she started rolling over on her tummy every night. 🙂
