Love this!!
Seen a few reviews saying it takes too long and doesnât heat properly so I was skeptical buying this, but we have all Tommy Tippee bottles and love them so I took the chance and glad I did!! While this bottle warmer does take a few minutes to heat, I dont think itâs unreasonable at all! And worth the wait since itâs always heated perfectly to room temperature for me unlike my last warmer that took the same amount of time and made the milk way too hot. I would recommend this warmer!
This is a great bottle warmer
I highly recommend. Anyone complaining about it taking too long might just be impatient. It heats accordingly, has many different settings which is so helpful. Fits my Tommee tippy bottles and still has room for something larger. Just read the instructions and get used to the different settings and youâll have no problems. Also it saves the setting you used last which can speed things up when preparing bottles.
Consistent heat, requires 2 heat cycles
Great warmer that can accommodate larger bottles.Easy to use. Only con is required to do fridge temp setting if using room temperature formula.. and requires to do fridge temp cycle followed by a room temp cycle this is using Dr brown wide glass bottles. Maybe works better with tommee bottles or other brands
It does what it says it does
It does take a little time but it does do a good job so if you’re in a hurry to feed the baby I would not suggest this!
Does the job, but too slow
Bought it on sale before our first baby was born. Saw some review that it was kinda slow, but I thought reviewers where exaggerating. It does the job, it sure warm bottles. But, let me tell you this : when it’s 2 in the morning and your baby is crying loud because he’s hungry, the time it takes to warm a bottle feels like forever. I wish I could turn back time and buy a better bottle warmer.
Good product
Warm the baby formula
Bottle & Bag Warmer
This unit is easy to use and never overheats the milk. I heat frozen bags of breast milk or bottles of milk for my grand daughter in under 10 minutes. It is compact, easy to use, easy to wash and not heavy. Stores nicely in a drawer. Wish we had these when my daughter was born!
Set it and forget it
Pros:- Beeps when ready so you don’t have to mess with timers- The basket to remove bottles/food pouches is nice- Easy water measurement; just put in 1 cup (you had to carefully pour water up to a certain line after putting the bottle in for the old model)- Once it finishes and beeps, it switches into a keep warm mode; no more wasted time cooling an overheated bottle back down againCons:- it would be nice to have ml on the buttons as well as oz- the 6+ oz setting is not good enough for a really full bottle, there needs to be one more volume option- for all the new features, it doesn’t heat up any faster than the old model (we did a side-by-side comparison and the temperature change was identical for the same amount of time)- toddlers know what the beeping means XD
Bottom line: This warmer works, and it’s simple. You add the same amount of water (9 oz.) regardless of what you are warming, then press three buttons to program in what you’re warming. The warmer will set the timer for you based on the options you select (note: timer is internal; there is no timer display). When it beeps, dump the water out and feed your child.I was having trouble getting our 2-month old to take re-heated milk. I suspected temperature was the issue since he took powdered formula just fine, which I was mixing with microwave-heated water. Heating a bottle under a running faucet was time- and labor-intensive, and frustrating as all get out as I found myself trying to hold a bottle under nearly scalding water with one hand and balance a fussy baby with the other.Enter the bottle warmer. I did not want to take a chance on a non-branded imported warmer with an abnormal number of 5-star reviews. I looked at the 8 warmers listed as “compatible” by our bottle manufacturer, Comotomo, as well as some name brand (Graco, Chico, etc) warmers and one-by-one crossed them off my list for various reasons. One finalist in my search was the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature warmer, replaced by the Easi-Warm model. It’s the one with a knob and three settings. Not only is not designed for food jars when baby is older, but it doesn’t have auto shutoff or a built-in timer! The “Advanced” model solves this issue completely. Once you read the instructions, the buttons are all self-explanatory.1st column: Bottle (plastic), Bottle (glass), Pouch2nd column: Room temp, Refrigerated, Frozen3rd column: Amount of milkThe combination of settings determines the timer setting. Warming is accomplished by a water bath, not steam. It takes a little longer, but provides reliable and even heating. After the warming cycle is complete, the water bath will maintain the milk temperature for up to 45 minutes. This is AWESOME when baby decides he’d rather poop himself three times or fall asleep instead of eat.If you are warming on the high end of the volume settings, e.g. 3-4 oz. or 5-6 oz., you may need to run a partial second cycle to really get that “straight from the source” temperature. This doesn’t add much time because there is no need to dump the water or wait for it to cool down; just press the power button to end the current cycle, then start a new cycle. Press and hold the power button to cancel a cycle in progress. The only downside to this warmer is that it does not have a reservoir; however, the amount of water it needs (9 oz.) is the same regardless of which setting you choose so there is not much thinking required here. One final note: Although this fits Comotomo bottles, I don’t warm milk in them. The silicone that these bottles are made of does TOO good of a job when it comes to insulating the contents, and the settings on this warmer were not designed for insulated bottles. Instead I use a pump bottle, warm up the milk, then dump it into the Comotomo. One extra step that makes a world of difference.
I had another baby bottle warmer from a very popular (and expensive) brand that I received from my baby regisrty. However, I found that it consistently overheated the milk (I mean boiling hot) even though I followed the heating instructions and even lowerred the recommended heat levels when that didn’t work!So I went searching for an alternative as everytime I needed to heat up my baby’s milk it became a taxing affair of trying to calm a hungry baby while waiting for his milk to cool to a safe level.I stumbled upon the tommeee tippee heater and since I already had the tommee tippee bottles which my baby loved I decided to give the bottle warmer a try based on the many positive reviews and it was the best decision ever!I’m able to get my baby’s milk warmed up to a safe temperature and it doesn’t even take up that much space on the counter top.I haven’t tried to heat up baby food in the warmer yet as my baby has only just started to eat solids but I’m confident that it will get the job done well.
This is an amazing and fast little heater. The heat settings are pretty accurate and if you have a crying baby at 3am I usually heat it on the highest setting while swirling the bottle inside as itâs warming up for it to go faster. Other than that, I just throw it in normally during the day and it heats up good. Glass bottles obviously heat up a lot faster, and I had a lot of those. I would definitely check the temp maybe 2 or 3 times before feeding to make sure itâs a good temp, just as a precaution. I love it and it never gave me problems. easy to use and easy to clean.
We love this warmer, but wish it was easier to clean. It’s super easy to use (button options for material of bottle (glass, plastic, or milk bag), temperature of bottle (room, fridge, frozen), and amount of liquid needing to be heated (2-3oz, 4-6oz, 6+ oz). It heats bottles pretty quickly (obviously the frozen setting and more ounces to be heated takes longer). It does feel like it takes forever if your baby is crying and you need it NOW, lol, but if you can plan ahead and have some heating towards end of baby’s nap or BEFORE they get hangry, you’re good to go! The one downside, CLEANING. To be fair, the manual says not to leave water in it long-term, and to basically empty it and dry it out after each use. Sorry, but this is ridiculous to expect people to do, especially new parents or any parents, really. So naturally, the inside begins to get a bit slimy and leaves you feeling weird and icky about placing a bottle in here to heat up. The worst part though is that you CAN”T CLEAN THE WHOLE THING. You can reach the edges/bottom with a sponge, but there’s a barrier at the bottom (with holes, like a shower drain) that keeps you from being able to get down to where the heating element is. Fine, I get why, but that means I can’t clean out the sliminess down there, so it can never be 100% slime free. My husband doesn’t worry about the sliminess at all, since the water being heated never actually touches the milk or top of the bottle where the nipple goes, etc. It does make ME feel weird though because I wonder about mold vapor rising with the heat/steam (there’s no steam, but idk what happens that my naked eye can’t perceive!) and then settling on or coating the opening of the bottle, etc. Would be such an easy fix to make that bottom barrier removable for parents so they can keep it all clean!! We did end up buying a second one and trying to keep it cleaner, and just bringing the old one to my in-laws for occasional use at their house.
The item came with a foreign plug. Once I found an adaptor I plugged it in and the machine immediately blew. It has blown the sockets in my kitchen also. Dangerous item.
