Great for more than one child
Love the options to have one camera view, two camera view, or rotating views (every 10 seconds). The large screen is great.
Extremely disappointed
Would not recommend.I have heard good reviews on vtech monitors however I am very disappointed in this product.One of the cameras is extremely blurry (see photo). You also cannot pan from the monitor, you have to manually move the camera. As seen in the photo we are unable to view the whole crib with the camera mounted as high as possible, and we canât pan to see the very top or bottom of the crib.
The battery doesn’t keep its charge for more than 4 hours.
The battery does not keep its charge for more tahn 4 hours. It does not last a whole night even in the battery saving mode. I had to buy anither charger plug so it can charge during the day downstairs and during the night upstairs. Very disappointed with the product.
Doesnât pick up sound
Had no complaints about this monitor, loved how the screen goes black until noise is detected in the room then the screen lit up for the room the noise was coming from and the speaker played the noise (aka crying). Except that stopped working. So now I canât trust the monitor unless Iâm clicking view and staring at it constantly⦠itâs only 4 months oldâ¦
BUYER BEWARE: I HAD TO DISASSEMBLE AND MANUALLY REFOCUS THE CAMERA TO SEE ANYTHING!
I have read a number of reviews claiming that one or both cameras were horribly blurry. THE SAME HAPPENED TO ME AND I WAS ABLE TO FIX IT BY DOING THE FOLLOWING: 1) unplugged the defective camera 2) removed the two screws on the back and pried off the face plate 3) scraped off the piece of glue holding the focus wheel in place 4) manually turned the focus wheel clockwise with needle-nose pliers 5) turned the camera on to check the focus and re-adjusted as required.Now that the cameras give a clear picture the unit actually works pretty well. But the fact that I had to do this myself is unacceptable. Since simple quality control was not handled by the manufacturer I’m betting that there will be other issues with this baby monitor. SO BE CAREFUL BUYING THE VTech VM350-2! And if you end up with a defective unit, maybe the steps above can help you
Excellent quality And easy to use
Kept there promise of delivery. Came undanaged and product is great.
We had this video monitor with our oldest 3 kids. We loved it but decided to give it away when we were done having kids. When we found ourselves needing a baby monitor again, we knew exactly which one we wanted to purchase! The ability to talk to the kids is a big plus for us. I also like the option to add a second camera. It worked in our 3,000 sq ft house at opposite ends so the coverage/connectivity is excellent.
Good video quality not blurry. Easy to use. Good Battery life. Night vision all the features you need as a new mom or mom of multiple!
My baby monitor died. I needed one delivered ASAP and this one was available to be delivered next day. It also comes with two cameras and has split screen option. Same as the other reviews it’s hard to view everything you want to view. My 5 year old summer infant one was mounted maybe a foot above my baby’s crib and you could see the whole thing. This VTech one is like 3 feet above the crib and the view is maybe 75% of the crib. The picture quality is ok. The temp is 2-3 degrees higher than actual temp. My previous monitor would alternate video and audio feed between the two kids’ rooms, about every 8-10 seconds. This one has this option as well. It also has the split screen option. Video feed is both rooms. The audio feed is of the yellow highlighted room. When the kid is crying from the non highlighted room, the monitor beeps, highlights that room red and then switches the audio feed over to the room where the kid is crying. I guess this will work for us for now. There’s also a tiny light from the camera my son noticed immediately. My previous monitor had a night light option on the cameras. Convenient to turn it on to soothe baby. This one doesn’t (if it does someone let me know).
