The Newton Baby Crib Mattress Pad was designed for maximum comfort and safety. We built in an innovative top panel made from two layers of spacer material to increase air circulation and reduce the risk of suffocation when the baby rolls over. We also use a proprietary combination of materials to keep your baby cool and protect against overheating so that your baby gets a good night’s sleep. Our innovative use of waterproof lining allows us to safely and securely attach a TPU for quick clean ups when messes are at their worst. With its easy–secured skirted design, place the Newton Baby Crib Mattress Pad on any standard crib mattress in the same way you would a fitted crib sheet. The Newton Crib Mattress Pad measures 52″ x 28″ x 5.5” and is designed to fit all standard size cribs.

SO breathable
My baby started stomach sleeping at a really young age so I bought this mattress protector. It is incredible. I tested it on a regular crib mattress with a sheet over top and I can breathe easily with my face pressed into the mattress. I can now sleep better at night knowing my baby can breathe well.
You can breathe through it easily
Used with a regular mattress you can breathe through the cover easily. Unfortunately I tried to cover it with a light fitted sheet as itâs not a soft material and the results werenât quite the same. So Iâm using it on its own. But it does appear to work and I will order another in case we have to change sheets mid night.
Worth the investment in the long run
The mattress is expensive, however, in the long run, it works. It’s a baby mattress on one side and toddler mattress on the other and would last many years. The mattress had zero chemical smell when it arrived and looks breathable. My baby has loved to sleep on it since day one. I definitely recommend this mattress if you don’t mind the initial investment.
High performance crib mattress cover but not the softest to touch
Fits the Newton mattress perfectly, cushy and quality made, but it’s not the softest to skin. I suggest using a breathable muslin fitted sheet over it.

This has got to be the beat thing I bought for our son. This is better than the mattress alternative which is so much more expensive. When they say this is breathable, it really is!! I planted my face into it and can breathe with zero difficulty!! I can sleep well knowing my little one is going to sleep well too!

Great product – super quick delivery! Have used this on top of a normal cot mattress and yes it’s still breathable. Have paired this with a muslin fitted sheet.
Bought this for a friend off her registry. She is picky about items for her baby, so if she wanted this it must be good! She said it worked well and that the fabric and zipper were a good quality.She said it fit the intended mattress well and had decent padding so itâs hopefully comfy for the baby!I thought it was expensive but based on the quality my friend described it seems like a fair price.
Baby peed through sleep sack and got into the mattress protector as well but mattress underneath stayed dry! I like that this mattress protector is comfortable and has same mesh-comfort as the Newton mattress not plastic-feeling like most waterproof mattress protectors. Baby has been sleeping comfortably on it for months

Although the Newton mattress is washable I do like having the mattress protector on it. It has saved our mattress many times from accidents and occasional stomach bug. The mattress protector is easy to wash and has held it shape overtime. This is the second protector I have ordered for our second baby, weâre a big fan of newton!
