Bought as a gift for my nephew and he loves it. Tons of colours to choose from and I really enjoy that you can adjust the brightness so itâs perfect as a nightlight for him. I would have loved for it to have an automatic shut off like after 1hr kind of thing but the remote still makes it easy to turn off once my nephew falls asleep.

A nice light with a transparent pane with light etching of the PlayStation shapes with a 3D effect which is illuminated in multiple colours with the base’s built-in LEDs.The lights can be powered by micro USB or alternatively three AA batteries can be used if you wanted to place it somewhere that doesn’t have easy access to a USB port. With either power option, the lights can be turned on/off, changed using the remote and the touch sensitive power button on the stand itself, the button on the stand it cycles through all modes starting with solid colours then near the end it has the colour changing modes from flash, strobe, fade and smooth, all of these can be found on the remote as well as dimming and brightening buttons. The remote has a good range, I initially had it on my desk but it seemed to stop registering after around a metre when I moved my arm away from it and when I put it on the shelf, it had no problem getting the signals from the remote so if it’s higher up it won’t create an issue with the distance.Included in the box is the LED stand, plastic shapes sign, remote, power cable and an instruction sheet.It’s a cheaper option but still a nice unofficial light for a PlayStation fan, it has a good range of colours, modes and brightness. The official PlayStation shapes light is more detailed and bigger but that costs £29.99 but there are some other third party versions which look quite good for £17.00-£29.99 so it depends what you’re after really.
This light is in our man cave in the garden and fits well with the PS5 we have in there.It is well made, albeit a little plastic. But for the price it’s decent quality.The 4 symbols – Triangle / Circle / X / Square all represent the same symbols that are present on all the PlayStation controllers, so this works well in any gaming room or for any fan of the console.The lights can change colour, and there are a multitude of colours and combinations to choose from. Just choose what you want on the remote control, aim it at the light and the response will be immediate.All in all, I’d recommend to any keen gamer.
