I love my capybara light. It charges easily and stays lit for a really long time. It is switch and or touch activated and is a really cute desk accessory. It could alternatively be used as a nightlight or just a cute decoration. Overall, I always super impressed with this lightis unique and very welcome to addition to my desktop.

This light has a really cute design, and it’s not made roughshod or cheap like many such things of this material are. For instance, things like the eyes, feet, and painted/coloured elements of the light are all placed properly, cleanly drawn, and there’s nothing like stray glue or bad lines or anything. That’s basically it so far as the aesthetics, I can certify that it does indeed match the picture of the listing.In terms of usability, nice and simple – great design for a night light, honestly. You just squeeze it. Once for dim, twice for bright, and again for turning him off. He has a decently large built in battery which is great, so the light does actally last quite a bit of time.I’ll admit I was 75% charmed by its relative kawaii factor, 25% by its actual possible utility. With that said, I am finding some – I’m basically completely night blind, but now I have the capybara to guide me – and it’s very simple to find on my nightstand for if I have to get up. It so cute!! My friend’s toddler loves it and thanked me for the gift.It has two modes: normal warm table light mode or colour mode. I personally like the warm like more as the various colours makes the panda not real. But the kids sure loves the different colours.Light level can be adjusted to low, med, high. And once turned on, it will countdown for 30mins and turns off on its own. And you have to slide the button to off position and turn it on again if desired.It’s usb C powered. And you will have to use the cord it provided to charge as the charging hole is deeper than normal devices, which is a little annoying. But once it’s charged it can go cordless for the night.It’s so cute I want to keep it for myself haha… It’s only $16.99, maybe I’ll just buy myself one too!
Cute night light, squeeze to change light is a novel innovation
This is a cute light that is toddler friendly, lovable, huggable, and squishable.The enclosed English instruction is a bit clumsy in explaining how to operate the light. I figured that out by trial and error.The light is made of silicone so it is soft and pliable. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery which is charged via a USB-C port. When being charged, there is a faint red light at the base of the lamp which goes off when it is fully charged.There is a single 3-way switch on the bottom. As far as I can tell from testing, there are two independent modes of operation. White light (2 brightness levels and off) that stays on until being turned off manually. Colour light (6 colours plus white, no brightness adjustment) that can be turned off manually or if left alone, shuts itself off automatically after 30 minutes.The brightness level in white light mode and the colour in colour light mode are changed by slightly squishing the panda. This is a novel innovation that children will love.The light is designed as a night night so it is not very bright but sufficient to keep night gremlins away.The lamp is child friendly. There are no loose detachable parts or sharp edges that can be hazardous to a young child. The bottom hard plastic plate is attached to the body of the lamp quite securely. The light runs on low voltage battery so there is no electrical hazard. The body of the lamp is made of silicone which is an inert material.The battery will last through the night on white light setting when fully charged.All in all, this is a novel child friendly night light. Recommended.

I dont need a night light, I just love Capybaras and this is super cute, I had to have it.I keep it on my coffee table and turn it on at night.Its soft and turns on with a little squeeze, two squeezes for a brighter level.It feels nice and did I mention it was cute ?Great night light or for the Capybara lover.
