Better than my NutriBullet
I drink at least one, sometimes two, protein shakes a day, for the past 8 years. I started with a NutriBullet 650W blender but ended up giving that one away and buying the same model again. As far as I know, even that first one is still running today. The NutriBullet 650W is a great blender with a tireless motor … BUT … over the past couple of years the sucker has been leaking constantly, in spite of new cups, new gaskets, new blade-units … nothing stops it from leaking at least 40% of the time and it is a mess to clean up.Now, the Ninja 900W … I considered going to the 1100W unit, but honestly the 650W Nutribullet never had a problem blending my shakes, including chopping through frozen coconut and a piece of frozen banana. I figured the Ninja’s 900W would do the trick.Well … it certainly does the trick, only a little bit faster and with FAR less noise than my NutriBullet ever made. What has really sold me on the Ninja, however, is the design. Not as compact as the Nutribullet, but just SO much smarter in every aspect. The blades are far sharper. The seals are cleaner and therefore more effective. The area in the base where the blade and cup sit is all one piece of plastic, so even if it DID leak, the crap wouldn’t be going down into the motor as with the Nutribullet. The blade unit is designed for easy grip for removal after blending, unlike the smooth, useless Nutribullet one.Even the spout on the cup lids are WAY smarter than the nutribullet’s where you can actually finish your drink because of the poor design. Also, the 32oz shake cups that i purchased in addition (because i put a lot of water in my shakes) are an actual 32 oz, unlike the “32oz” cups for the Nutribullet. And the materials just seem like MUCH higher quality than the Nutribullet components.I am absolutely impressed with the Ninja and hope i never have to come back to edit my review with a report of leaking or motor malfunction.Love love love this blender and wish i’d made the switch from Nutribullet a lot sooner.
Healthy Smoothies in Seconds
We lost our Vitamix when we moved houses and I am impressed by the power of our new Ninja Pro Blender. Yes, it is noisy but it has zero issues crushing frozen strawberries, ice, spinach and matcha lattes. It only takes a few seconds to blend smoothies and incredibly easy to use with only 1 option (just press down the cup to blend). My son makes his own smoothies and uses the cup with lid to drink on his way to school. Clean up is a breeze which is a bonus when we are rushed in the mornings. The downside to this blender is the noise but with it’s convenience and power I would recommend it to everyone. Making healthy smoothies for on the go has never been easier.
Wow, what power!
I read reviews here before purchasing this item & a few reviews stated it was very loud, but as others had remarked the quickness of the running time is so minimal, that it matters not. I agree. What a fantastic smoothie maker. So very handy & so easy to clean. Powerful. Well worth the cost.
CRAZY LOUD!! but works very well
I bought this because I wanted something with a larger capacity. I’ve owned two other small mixers before this that I use to make my protein shakes everyday. Well this one works very well but it is CRAZY LOUD. I tested my Promix vs the Ninja with 500ml water. The Promix topped out at 57 db (moderate to quiet) the Ninja hit just over 80db! (very loud – ie diesel truck). It also takes up a fair bit of real estate on the counter. But it does what it promises – anything you put in there gets absolutely pulverized my frozen berries get pureed ASAP. Also the cups and lids are pretty solid although you have to really screw on the top very tight before you put it on the unit to blend or it will leak a bit and it’s almost impossible to clean the motor part of the unit if stuff leaks into it because of the many bits of plastic sticking out inside which I of course learned the hard way. But I love the big cup and the drinking lid screws on very securely so I am sticking with the Ninja. UPDATE well I’ve had it for a while now and it’s still crazy loud. I took the hearing protection earmuffs for my workshop and I now keep them in my kitchen for when I make my protein shakes. Also learn not to screw the tops on too tight or they’re almost impossible to get off. Other than that still very happy with the results. The blades are sharp and polarize everything and I have not had the motor overheat
Quick, convenient and powerful!
As a busy mom, I never have time for breakfast before work. This blender is amazing! I simply put all the ingredients for my smoothie into the container the night before and store it in the fridge. In the morning, it takes just one minute to blend everything before heading out. The lid is perfect for taking my smoothie on the go, so I never miss breakfast again. It’s easy to clean, powerful, and practical!
great smoothie maker
Makes making our morning smoothies a breeze. Very powerful, blends prunes and frozen fruit with ease. Couldn’t be happier upgrading our morning smoothies!
Small size big power
With a motor that is usually 900 watts or more, the tiny Ninja blender has a surprisingly powerful construction. This makes it ideal for creating single-serve cocktails because it can effortlessly combine ice, frozen fruit, and fibrous veggies into a smooth consistency. Its sleek form allows for easy cleanup and rapid blending. If you want to save time in the mornings, the blending container can also be used as a lidded to-go cup. It is particularly helpful for busy people or commuters because it is portable and may be blended and capped. The Ninja Personal Blender’s compact design is among its best features. It’s simple to keep in a cupboard or fit on a busy kitchen surface. For anyone seeking a dependable, single-serve solution that is simple to use and maintain, the compact Ninja blender is perfect. Although it isn’t intended to take the place of a full-sized blender for more involved cooking jobs, it is excellent for swiftly and effectively preparing shakes, smoothies, and tiny portion.
