Truly leakproof waterbottle!
So we’ve been using open cups and cups with straws for our toddler. In all truth, I personally have a preference for it, but sometimes you just have to have something spill-proof especially if you are ‘on the go’. While I consider the ‘spills’ part of the learning and that getting wet is the best way to learn, this is a tradeoff you simply need to keep things moving along efficiently sometimes. And as far as that sentiment goes, this is a great leak-proof bottle with a weighted straw that allows for the waterbottle to be held on an angle and still have flow.In terms of aesthetics, it’s really nicely designed and a muted sage moss colour. The clear barrel without design is less visually ‘busy’ and also allows you to quickly see if a refill is needed. The click top is easy for our toddler to open and close by themselves. The only learning curve, which doesn’t speak to the quality of the bottle itself, is that the silicone straw does have ‘valve’ that requires a good amount of suction before it will ‘let’ water flow. I have personally tried it and while our toddler was a little bit confused about the amount of suction required (compared to her regular straw cups) she got the hang of it really quick. Happy with this waterbottle!

Good baby/toddler first straw cup
Cap that flips over the straw pops off every time it falls onto the floor and the brandâs name washed off very quickly with only handwashing otherwise a good weighted straw cup for our 10 month old. Doesnât leak when inside a bag.

This works so well. It’s truly surviving my toddler and daycare. It is leak proof which is perfect, cleaning the straw is easy as it can be completely disassembled. The handles are great for little hands. The weighted straw moves with the liquid however it sometimes it sticks to one side when my child sucks. Overall it’s a great cup

Honestly loved the bottle so much. 12 month old has been drinking from it lots and I guess whacked it on something, now it’s cracked! So disappointed as it is actually leak proof and slows down her guzzling the water down like it’s going to disappear.

Weighted straw cupThis is an awesome cup for early learners. It comes with a straw spout, and a slip top to cover when not in use. I really appreciate the weighted straw feature, which is great as your kid is learning to drink and they spin the cup in every direction, they will still be able to get liquid out of the spout. It also has two handles which makes it easy to hold for little hands. The quality of the plastic feels really great. The seal on it is very tight so I am sure that this will not leak when you throw it in a diaper bag and youâre on the go.I really like this Nouka brand. I ordered a bunch of their products for my new baby. Itâs a Canadian brand and the quality of the materials seem quite nice. Overall, Iâm really happy with this cup and I would highly recommend it as a purchase for your new baby. You can also andd this cup to a lovely gift basket for a baby shower, makes a nice gift!
This is a great cup. It really is so easy for my grandson to drink from this cup from any angle. I love how spill proof it is because he is all over the place. Easy to clean regardless if you use the top rack or hand wash. The best thing about it in my opinion is that nouka products are 100% free of harmful BPAâs, PVCâs, and phthalates. This is great deal. This product would make a great baby shower gift, birthday, holiday and/or ofr any other special occasion.My 2 year old loves drinking from this particular cup. It has given her practice with using a straw â which only works when it’s been applied with measure and important points for the five of the rest of the table. This tippy cup would make a great gift for birthday, holiday or any other special occasion.
The straw is a bit hard to clean since itâs one piece and also the weighted part you canât really insert a brush to clean since the hole is so small, Iâm always worried about black mold in these things so I just like to be able to see.Other than that itâs ok but nothing to special.
This cup is a great starter cup when your little one is transitioning to a straw/big cup. The handlers are comfortable and easy to grasp. The lid twists on easily. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5: The cup is “slippery” if wet at all so it is hard to loosen the top and open it up without hurting your finger from the handle when it finally gives. The inside straw tends to come loose after a few times of using it so you have to push it back up into the straw. It does tend to push milk out of the straw if it is left alone and not used so makes a mess – water, not a huge deal but milk gets messy.
For the cheap price, this weighted straw cup is great. I have another, much more expensive one that is very similar, and although you can kinda feel and see the quality difference, functionally they are almost exactly the same. This is a great budget option.Pros:- cute color options- not too hard to clean- doesnât leak (aside from the occasional extra bit of liquids that stay in the straw- those can get flicked out)- weight works pretty well in the cup, keeping the base of the straw submerged- easy for my toddler to useCons:-the lid is a bit tough to open and close. For parents that donât want their kids opening and closing it on their own, they might find that as a âproâ. But I personally donât enjoy that- plastic feels a bit cheap, but it does feel about right for the price
