We had the medium flow at first, and we’re trying to supplement one time a day to make sure our baby would take a bottle months later at daycare. The problem with the medium was that when he went back to the breast he would get frustrated because it was too much work compared to the six holes in the medium.Fast forward to this purchase, which only has three holes and is the slow flow, it’s been perfect since one month old, and he’s now 6 months. Feeding on the bottle takes about the same amount of time as feeding on the breast, and he can freely go between the two without showing a preference. Highly recommend for infants and anyone struggling with a baby who becomes fussy and frustrated on the breast after bottle feeding because it was too easy from the bottle, since this will slow them down and match more the speed they go on the breast. For reference, our little one drinks only 3 to 5oz per feeding, and a 4oz feeding takes about 10 minutes with this slow flow nipple
Bought to replace Nuk bottle nipple.Fits the Nuk bottles I have, both 5 oz and 10 oz. Easy to remove, clean, and replace. Lasts well through many baby feeds and washes.Only fits a specific type of Nuk bottle, so not universal.
Our baby was born 5 weeks early and wasPicky with bottles. He liked this nipple and the size 1 was slow enough for him to tolerate and switch between bottle and breast with ease. We love these!
