Pros: my toddler preferred riding in his car seat on this instead of us carrying him or chasing him through the airport. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Easy to set up and break down once on the plane.Cons: learning curve for installing the car seat in a balanced way especially if youâre used to rear facing your child. Doesnât fit down the aisle of smaller planes.My advice: buy it. Practice with it at home before your trip if possible. Enjoy walking through the airport at an adult pace with your child happily watching from their seat. Enjoy your flight with your child strapped into their car seat instead of your lap :)Iâm so happy we bought one. Actually getting the car seat on and installed on the plane was sort of a hassle but 100% worth it for the convenience of having it in the airport and on the plane. Must have for toddler travel!
I used this when flying alone with my 15 month old. The strap that holds the car seat to the trolley is very strong seatbelt material. The only problem I had was my car seat (Evenflo Titan 65) bottom didn’t fit into the slots, but I used the latch straps on my car seat to secure the seat to the bottom of the trolley and it was very secure. Several people in the airport commented on it, “Wish we had one of those!” or “She’s got the right idea!” This is a great product at a decent value.
This car seat roller contraption was seriously the best thing. Easy to open/close. Just pull open and push tightly together. The ease of getting around the airport with my child inside the car seat was simple. Depending on the type of aircraft you will not be able to push the car seat through the aisles. You may have to carry your car seat to your seat. The contraption fits underneath the airplane seat with no problem. I wish the handle didnât wiggle when pushing/pulling makes it seem flimsy. At one turn the car seat started to come off the contraption. This maybe because it wasnât properly inserted into the contraption. Or the seat belt to hold the car seat and contraption together was a little hard to tighten.
If youâre buying this to roll your car seat through the airport, this may work but there are better products out there for that. If you are buying this to have your child strapped in the seat and rolled through the airport DO NOT buy this. It comes with one strap to secure the seat to it and it constantly comes loose. The carseat and your child then slide off the. Corners? Nope, canât take corners even slowly. The entire thing will tip especially if your child is in it. I bought this because we were traveling with two bags, a dog, a four year old and a car seat. I needed something to aid me in getting everything through the airport. This thing failed on all counts to aid me.
This was great! It was so easy to use and made traveling with a toddler more convenient. My 3 year old is super tall for his age but he was still able to sit and be pulled when he needed a break.
