The only tools needed is a screwdriver and an allen key, which came with the set.The quality of the shelf is good. It is sturdy and stable. It is not that heavy. One adult should be able to move it without any issues. The colours are consistent, and the edges are smooth to the touch. There are some minor knicks and scratches throughout, but overall it is acceptable.The only graphics on the shelf are the bears on the end. It is cute, but depending on how you place the shelf, they can be hidden from view. The shelf could use some graphics on the front.Overall this is a nice shelf. I personally don’t think it is worth $179.99, but there’s no denying that the fit and finish is good, and it does look good.Four stars.

The bookshelf displays books in a way that children are intrigued to look upon the options and pick their favourite books.In the listing it states its 5 layers but thats stating the layers of wood, not the layers that are usable for storing books.The 5 layers of planks produce only 4 layers of shelving for the books to be displayed on.The whole finish of the bookshelf is very smooth with no sharp edges so itâs perfect for small children playing around it. Very cute design, we love it!

My only issue was the paint jobâit looked a bit rushed and blotchy in a lot of places. However, all the edges are rounded, so I feel safe having it in my child’s room
