Iâve wanted a minimalist camp chair for some time. The outplea high back camp chair is a very good option at a fair price point.Good materials, good reinforcements where needed. Frame strong (265lb rated) and is bungee cord loaded to keep all parts contained which makes assembly take about 60 seconds and eliminates the chance of accidentally leaving behind 1 section for a leg, etc. Chair is compact; roughly 4 lb and about the size of a 2 liter of soda. Chair has a little bit of desired play to be able to lean back with reinforcements in the frame with gears to allow this movement, even with a full grown adult.This size and weight makes it great as a camp chair, one to keep in the RV, with your gear or in your vehicle for fishing, camping, tailgating, etc. But itâs a little bulky and heavy for all day or multiple day hikes. If it had a more rugged case with Molle attachments to strap this horizontally or vertically to the back of a 24-72hr pack, it would be great to be able to add on, as itâs likely too big for most compartments. Overall, itâs good quality, attractive and very versatile and functional at a very fair price point. I recommend it.
As others have said, there are no instructions in the box. However it doesn’t take much brain power to assemble, especially with the bungee cords holding relevant poles together, it’s quite a neat build. Doesn’t look all that sturdy once constructed, but after taking a pew on it I was pleasantly surprised!. Still a bit bulky to carry around in a backpack, but great for a camping trip etc
La silla va con su bolsa de transporte y sin necesidad de instrucciones es fácil de montar. Una vez tienes el esqueleto, luego va la tela la cual es gruesa y con tacto de resistente. Se monta en apenas dos minutos y si, es ideal para el trasporte. Eso si, no es la más cómoda del mundo y si estas mucho rato termina cansando, pero para escapadas o sitios que sabes que no tendras una silla y tienes que pasar un buen rato, me parece una buena opción, porque es ligera y se monta rapido.

This is a bit heavy for a backpacking chair as advertised because the weight is 4.25 lbs, but it’s strong and lightweight enough for car camping or carrying to an outdoor event like soccer game, concerts, etc. I like that the skeleton is one piece held together with compression rope like tent poles. So the chair is basically 2 main pieces – the frame and the canvas seat/back. There are no instructions for assembly, but it’s very intuitive as when the frame snaps together there is only one way the canvas fits. There are 4 reinforced pockets that slip over the pole ends, so slip the back over the long poles and then attach the seat. It’s a tight fit, so you will need to use the pull loops to get the canvas over the seat poles, but trust me that it fits and nicely at that.It’s a sturdy chair and just the right height to get in and out of – not too low to the ground. There are no arms or beverage holder, so keep in mind this is a basic camp chair. It has just the right amount of angle leaning backward that I can sit and engage or even take a nap – haha! The height of the back is perfect to rest your head against.Overall, I’m pretty happy with the portability of this chair and would not hesitate to get a matching one for a pair.
