This product is great. Really easy to set up, and works reliably.I’m not using recording, we use this as a dog monitor when we’re away from the house. Set up via the app was easy, and really quick. Simply setting up an account let the software do it’s magic to connect you to the camera wherever you are, whenever you have a network connection.The camera even is easily added to Google Home app on mobile, by simply linking the Owltron account with Google – and then it can be shared as a live feed amongst family.Very happy with this.
Cette caméra est livrée avec tout ce quâil faut à part une carte microSD quâil vous faudra prévoir si vous voulez vous passer du Cloud du fabricant: – la caméra, – le chargeur USB avec le câble dâenviron 2m, – un lot de vis et chevilles, ainsi quâun gabarit de percage si on veut la fixer à un mur, – un adhésif double face si on souhaite la coller, – le manuelLâinstallation est facile: une fois alimentée, la configuration se passe sous lâappli mobile owlTron pour lui donner les paramètres WiFi de la maison.On peut ensuite configurer la détection de mouvement, la détection de son, configurer les zones mortes dans lâimage à ignorer pour la détection de mouvement, etcâ¦Dans les paralysé lâappli on peut aussi activer le protocole Onvif pour lâutiliser avec une solution domotique.La qualité de lâimage est bonne, lâautofocus est un peu capricieux et accroche facilement les objets les plus proches, attention donc aux objets dans le champs de la caméra.Au final je recommande, elle marche très bien.
Ces petites caméras de surveillance sont toutes plus ou moins équivalentes en termes de qualité. Ici le capteur 2k donne une image de bonne qualité, parfaite pour surveiller un bébé (puisque le vendeur base son argumentaire sur cet usage). La qualité audio est, elle, nettement moins bonne. Ca suffira pour entendre les pleurs.Utilisée en test dans une chambre d’enfant de presque un an (déjà !), connectée à la tablette qui cast sur la TV. un montage pas si compliqué, et qui a l’avantage de ne pas avoir à rester devant l’écran du smartphone. Car contrairement à un vrai babyphone : pas de récepteur ici !Et donc, je ne la trouve pas si adaptée que ça, comme babyphone. En revanche comme cam de surveillance d’intérieur, elle est très bien, avec les mêmes arguments que ses petites (grandes) soeurs du même constructeur :â La vision nocturne très bonne.â La détection de mouvement est sensible, très sensible… Trop sensible ?â Application de bonne qualité, et vraiment fonctionnelle, y compris les notifs même sans abonnement cloudâ Abonnement cloud réellement pertinent : il inclue la garantie étendue sur le matériel : si votre cam tombe en rade, on vous en renvoie une. Logique, mais si rare…â Cam fixe : impossible de balayer une pièce du regard
This camera feels reasonable quality, basically the same as any similar security camera, being white plastic with a gloss black lens surround. The included power cable is definitely on the short side for a security camera at 1.5m. The required Owltron app is the biggest issue with this camera, it is okay but compared to apps from more well known brands it is clunky, less intuitive and less reliable.Although there is the option of a paid for cloud subscription, like most people Iâm getting pretty tired of endless monthly subscriptions for everything so would recommend adding a microSD card (not included) to make use of local storage. There is of course a caveat here – as with all similar cameras – if you plan to mount this in a visible location that is within reach, an intruder will simply take the camera along with the microSD card containing any video, rendering it largely useless, so think carefully about where you mount it. Additionally with the cloud service there are privacy concerns regarding storing video from inside your home on an unknown overseas server.Personally Iâd pick a quality 1080P camera with a good intuitive and reliable app over this camera, however currently priced at just £8 if you are on a tight budget this cameraâs flaws can be overlooked.
