High quality, thick plastic and sturdy. Grippy ring on the bottom does a good job of keeping it in place on the tray. Lids fit well and are water tight. Highly recommend.

This is a great set for toddlers. Love the non-slip bottom – obviously it isn’t going to prevent a determined kid from pushing them over, but it makes pushing a bowl around the high chair less fun, and also helps keep the bowl in place when learning how to scoop with a spoon or fork.I was a little worried about the size when I ordered because a lot of people commented on that, but the size is perfect for our needs. The small one works great for a snack – we use it for a handful of goldfish for the park (keeps them from being crushed in a full diaper bag) or apple sauce or whatever. The lids snap on and are surprisingly secure. I wouldn’t use them for something super wet on the go, but they are great for covering a half eaten meal and sticking in the fridge.
