The best high chair, ever
Ok, I rarely leave reviews. This might be my first review on Amazon. After using this high chair for the first day, I feel compelled to leave a review for it, so that it will be easier for other parents to make a decision.My son is 2 month old, so he diesn’t need a high chair to eat yet. But he likes to interact with us, eye contact, talking, etc.. When we have dinner, we used to put him on a baby swing, which is too low, and he is not at the same level with us. He will get bored very soon and one of us has to constantly look down and talk to him. This high chair, with the adjustable seat that can be almost flat, is so comfortable for the baby and now he can comfortably sit at the table with us. And we can push him near us wherever we are.The quality of this chair is impeccable, I feel it will last forever. And, it’s so intuitive, I don’t even need to look at the manual to put it up, and make all the adjustment. It’s such an engineer wonder. You will know what I am talking about when you use it. It’s so user friendly.Some other reviews said it’s hard to clean. I really don’t know what they are talking about. The seat can be wiped clean easily, it can’t be easier than this.I strongly recommend this high chair.
My baby girl loves it
Assembling in a few minutes to start using; very smart controls to everything like chair recliner, hight, navigation stop/start; table. Looks absolutely fancy and high quality, true Italy fashion piece! The chair is very comfy with soft cover easy to clean; my 4.5 month girl loves it and she is very picky lady!
Best high chair in the market IMO
I looked everywhere and considered many products and bought and returned one chair of a different brand at a similar price. For this chair, I was reluctant because of the fixed post on the chair that is used to prevent the baby from sliding out. In other chairs, this post is placed on the downside of the tray but with Perego it is fixed on the chair itself. Our 6 month baby does not have any issues with this post. Actually, I found it very safe to have it fixed with the chair as we do not use the tray that much.Quality:The chair is of high quality with metal frames almost everywhere. I think it will hold up over time. For that price, it totally worth it. Look in department stores for cheaper chairs and you will realize that $350 for this chair totally worth it. There are many options in $200-$300 range and they are nowhere near the build quality and robustness of this product.The only downside of this chair is being hard to move around on carpets. On hard floors, it is easy to move though.
Great product.
Great product! I love how it can fold up and fold away, and how luxurious the product looks and feels. My only issue was with the tray. The tray that holds the food is easily able to detach from the activity tray causing my toddler to throw the tray off when she no longer wants her food, and the snap belt does stain overtime if not washed frequently. The colour is true to the picture and the quality is great. I get compliments on it all the time when people drop over.

Literally a throne for your baby ! Really good number of height adjustments, slant for the chair itself. A real life saver ! You can move your infant around the house in it while the baby is playing or feeding. The seat cushion is faux leather and way to clean and very comfy ! Definitely recommend the product â¤ï¸
BEST HIGH CHAIR Iâve EVER used!!
Itâs basically already assembled except the rollers on the bottom of it. Itâs SUPER easy to use, very easy to clean the entire chair and removable tray, the safety straps are extremely secure and it looks great. I am sooo glad i bought this and did not cheap out (i was legit going to).
Horrible. Injured back + STINKS — LOW VALUE
We started noticing BRUISING and REDNESS in the middle of my child’s back (on and around the spine). We had no idea what the problem was, and started trying to figure out what was causing it. We first eliminated his Peg Perego 4-35 carseat primo blah blah blah which only lasted him until he was 22 Lbs (not 35 lbs) because he’s very tall. That did not solve it.My son is 14 months old and we are very lucky that we purchased the additional $60 Peg Perego Booster (for small infants) cushion because even though he’s too big for the booster cushion we removed it months ago. We placed that cushion back in this booster chair and the bruising and redness went away immediately. Wow — how can a $400 high chair INJURE a baby? Incredible. Peg Perego is lucky that I am not a litigious individual, who has time for that when you have a baby?Next — the trays. The top tray is fine – it can be used and cleaned like any other tray. The base tray, however, if you end up using it, will STINK because when you wash it, water will enter into the little holes and sit inside the tray. I am writing this review because I am SO disappointed – at the moment, I’ve got the tray with all of the screws removed because I am trying to get into it so I can wipe it down. After I wash it, I usually try to shake it out and dry it but that doesn’t work. Guess what, I can’t easily take it apart either, so that’s another reason why I am so frustrated with this horrible product.Unbelievably poorly thought out, the whole thing. Looks great though if that matters to you. At first we thought it was great, but wow were we ever wrong. Do not buy this, don’t even consider it. My poor baby’s back!!!Buy something that’s easily cleaned and there are as little enclosed areas on it as possible.

I love this high chair, and the Peg Perego customer service can’t be beat. I haven’t found the stationary front wheels to be a problem – we have a tiny kitchen and when my baby is in the high chair, I lock the casters on GO and can roll it wherever I need it. The movement is smooth and easy. I’m also impressed with how compact it folds down – since it stands on its own, we fold it up, push it up to the kitchen table as if it were a chair, lock the wheels to STOP, and that works for us for now. It’s also super stylish, and I get compliments from friends – everybody wants to know where I got this high chair. Luckily I caught a flash sale on Amazon and got it for a steal.Note that when you first get it, the arms will probably be a bit warped, and the tray table won’t line up with the holes. You have to do a bit of work to get the tray in and out, and it’s not a one-handed operation. I called Peg Perego and was told by their customer service that this is a known issue and has to do with how the frames are shipped and stored, and was advised to store the tray table in place in the arms for a week or two. So far this is working, and the arms are slowly correcting themselves. It’s not fully corrected after a week, but it’s on track to be fixed in another week or so. They did send me another frame but it had the same issue. I’ve been impressed with their level of customer service through this process, even if it was a little frustrating to get such an expensive high chair that had a warp issue.But that’s literally the only issue with this chair, and since it’s easily fixed and doesn’t really detract from the high chair I can’t knock any stars off because I love everything else about it. It’s clearly a high quality item, every component is well made and works well, it’s easy to keep clean as almost everything detaches, and my baby enjoys sitting in it. What more can you ask of a high chair?
Great quality all around,very functional and simple to use. These are the universal hallmarks of great products and glad to see a highchair that embodies these elements. Out of the box there was basically zero assembly required. You simply plugin the 2 back wheels. The instruction booklet is all illustrations and mostly it shows you how to operate it as there truly is no actual assembly required, basically you need to find the little buttons that allow you to adjust everything to your liking. Prior to the Peg Perego we briefly had a lower priced Fisher Price model that we returned, the assembly was complicated and the actual highchair felt clunky and made from low caliber materials. It weirdly took up unnecessary space and it was simply not appealing to use.Anyway, we ordered the green color (beautiful) and it arrived in 2 days (thanks Amazon Prime!), the seat can best be described as a treated leather that is very soft and had our three month old instantly smiling upon sitting in it. The seat height is adjustable and it’s nice to be able to seat baby up at eye level and allow him to comfortably scan the room while you tend to other matters (getting his milk ready). The tray table is sturdy and of high quality and also adjustable. There is a removable top portion of the tray that you can throw in the dishwasher. Also the seat reclines so you can adjust baby should he get fussy from sitting in one position too long. There is also a legrest portion of the chair which is also adjustable and extendable. Don’t forget the uber secure seatbelt shoulder strap five point harness system. Sure I paid a little extra for it but I have no regrets as it is light years better then the lower priced model I had. Think Iphone vs. flip phone.
I used this same high chair 10 years ago different color. I wanted a newer modern chair like the Lalo but decided on this and I donât regret it. I use it with my newborn now fully reclining when I need to be in the kitchen so baby isnât unattended. This chair is still my favorite. The multiple recline and height positions and the easy rolling. Its super comfortable and easy to clean. Solid qualityâ¦I suggest this high chair for every parent. Looks donât make ur life easierâ¦but this chair does. I know its bigger n bulkier than the newer modern ones out now, but its still worth it.
Update: 6 years, 2 kids, and one replacement seat cover later, we are still using this high chair and still loving it. We only replaced the seat cover because a teething toddler chewed holes through the original. If you donât have chewing toddlers, the cover absolutely stands up to daily use and wipes clean easily. 🙂 Replacing was no big deal – ordered from the manufacturer website and used the opportunity to change the color too!We love this highchair! I researched the whole Internet because it’s not a small investment, but all the positive reviews are right on. This thing has the perfect balance of form and function. My favorite things:1. It’s flexible enough to use with both my kids (6 months and 2 years). We can use it at the table, at our counter height island, or on its own with the included tray. It reclines fully for the baby or sits upright for the big boy.2. The top strap of the 5 pt harness easily attached and detaches from the bottom (lap) straps. This makes getting the baby in and out so much easier!3. The thing folds up so small! We have it open most of the time, but it’s nice and easy to fold it up and set it aside when we need to.The only drawback I can think of is it is the easiest to steer when you’re moving it around. The wheels on the front are stationary and the wheels on the back are casters that rotate a full 360 degrees, so it is actually easier to pull it backwards to its final destination and then turn it around. Not a big enough issue to knock a star off for me.We got a repackaged box for a great deal on Amazon- it was brand new! Must have been returned or something. So if you’re considering purchasing one but are deterred by the cost, check to see if there are any repackaged ones available.
We have only had this a few days but I really like this high chair. It looks good, seems comfortable for my baby and is easy to use and move about.I did a lot of research before choosing this one and so far I am not disappointed.My only negative is it took 3 weeks to arrive.I will update my review once we’ve had it a but longer.
