Reviews

  1. Cheap looking
Did not come in a container

  2. I have been very entertained by these! My toddler not so much. I expected them to be easy to slide together, they require a bit of force and she can’t get them together. Kind of a bummer, but they’re keeping mom busy!

  3. my kids use these chips all the time and build all sorts of stuff. Unlike a lot of other toys, the kids keep coming back to these and seem to love them. I think the like the look and feel of them and they can definitely build a lot of fun stuff with them that really keeps their interst.

  4. I have purchased many Picasso brand items over the last five years. The grandkids love all of the sets, but the interlocking discs provide for better creativity. The kids come up with ideas of what they want to create and go to it. The discs lock together perfectly and do not come apart so there is no frustration with their creations falling apart on them while building. The colors are bright and fun. The set I purchased has wheels which added to the creativity. I only wish they sold the little piece that holds the wheels separately as the kids were using those to make all sorts of spinning creations. Hours and hours of fun. Be aware of the size of the discs and small children who still put things in their mouths or pets that get into everything. I highly recommend for ages 5+.

  5. My students absolutely love these for our STEM activity days. They have built all sorts of things with them.

  6. These were fun for my 3 year old granddaughter, my 43 year old son and his 34 year old wife. All three of them were immediately attracted to these slotted disks. My son is a lover of all fidgety things – he said this was a great fidget toy. He loves creating things and immediately made a masterpiece. His wife was also immediately attracted to it and loved the pictures that showed what could be created and immediately made one of the complex flowers. My granddaughter had a mixed experience – she immediately saw how it worked, but the pieces took too much force for her to make them fit properly so she quickly gave up and had more fun throwing them around the room. My take is that they do take more force than a 3 year old can manage, but the plus side of that is they hold together very well. So 3 years old seems a bit of stretch for the appropriate age. The only other downside was all three adults (besides myself) who looked at them were disappointed that there was only one color in the bag. They said, if the models on the outside of the bag showed all one color that would have been fine, but since the pictures were multi-colored, they expected multiple colors. All agreed that a bag of multi-colored disks would make it a winner all the way around.
