The instructions are be re clear and it comes with a lens cleaning cloth. There are different slides for different projections

Really pretty and bright, just one problem…
So I love my projector. These are sold everywhere and there are different models but the little discs are the same. My kid loves this projector on at night before bed and it’s seems to have peaked his interest in stars and I talk to him constantly about the order of planets etc. it’s great!But for the life of me I cannot find where you buy replacement discs. I can buy a whole other projector but not just the discs themselves. I have searched high and low and every website I could think of and there’s no way I can find where I can just buy replacement discs. Its kind of frustrating. You will eventually need to replace the discs because they turn a pretty green on the edges when you leave your projector on for hours (which sometimes happens at bed time) I know eventually the discs are going to be unusable and id love to replace the discs but I really can’t find anywhere online that sells them.
Picture is very blurry
I get what they are trying todo but the pictures make it look like itâs very clear. That is not the case very blurry.
Not very good quality
This is a pretty flimsy design. The picture was not all that clear even after focusing several times. The cord is only 2 feet long so the unit has to sit near wall which distorts the image over the entire ceiling. Maybe if it was 20$ we would have kept it but not worth 50$
Great for kids
This got my nephew over his fear of the dark overnight. Soothing, well built and lasts a long time.
Crying baby no more.
Usually my baby screams (currently in purple phase) before bed because she yearns to remain awake whilst fighting the urge to sleep.She was really fussy and purple faced crying while trying to put her in her crib, so instead I turned on the projector and she willfully allowed me to place her.Worth every penny (not the 150 dollar one) so yeah.

I had fairly low expectations for this product. Based on the reviews and product description, I was expecting an old ViewMaster type set up with low quality “photo discs” illuminated by inadequate dim LEDs.Man, I was wrong and so happy I took a chance!First, the 12 picture discs are separately packaged in their own protective covers that remind me of video game memory card cases (like the Switch). Each piece of film is contained in a small plastic carrier disc which is knurled on the sides making it easy to handle. The disc loads into a slide out tray on the projector – much like a DVD or CD drive loads a disc. The disc loading operation was easy and reliable.We really appreciated the little preview thumbnails on the cases which makes it easy to select a particular favorite scene.The unit pretty small and easy to locate. We found that projecting it straight up from a central spot in a room created the best effect. Projecting on a wall and ceiling at the same time introduced focus problems from the different projection distances involved. We placed the projector on an 18″ footstool and that created a roughly 10 foot image on an 8 foot high ceiling.The brightest level was above average in subdued room lighting. A total room blackout make the images even more impressive. This is a great upgrade from the old days of hot-burning halogen projector lamps; the unit stays cool and bright all the time, and of course won’t burn out.We liked that the projector comes with its own heavy duty power supply. This is not a USB adapter – it’s a high current supply, and the cable is reasonably long.The most enjoyable aspect is the rotation of the images. There are two speed settings, but we had a hard time distinguishing the difference. This is due to the fact that the images rotate at an amazingly slow and steady rate. I finally understood that the film discs are motor-driven, but the precision and silence blew us away. The two speeds are basically slow, and slower. This is appropriate for astronomical images anyway.Some of the images like the Milky Way and the Moon phases looked awesome as they sloooooowly rotated. Lots of fun to sit in a darkened room and watch the progressions. The focus adjustment ring is notable in how it’s geared. It takes a lot of rotations to make a big focus change. This is exactly what we want as it enables a fine degree of adjustment. It’s important to remember that while ‘high-resolution, HD,” these images are on a tiny film chip. I think it’s a bit of a stretch to call them HD, but they’re certainly far superior to the old options. I think they make up for the slightly lower resolution by the color choices – there are lots of dramatic and vivid colors on display.Overall, we’re very pleased with this unit. Yes, a remote would be nice…and it would great to have all of the images switchable someday (a digital version?). But for now, we’re getting a kick out of enjoying this cool toy!
Product is very low in performance. Does not project well at all even though keeping less distance. Very disappointed with it

This star projector is great for kids to learn about the solar system. We had a sleepover for the kids and this projector was a huge hit! They loved using it. It comes with many slides, which are mostly all pretty clear images and are easy to remove and put into the projector. A small handful of the slide images were not nearly as clear, but we were able to make it work when adjusting the settings. The light is bright but not overbearing, and looks best when used at night. There are knobs that allow you to adjust the picture quality, and it doesn’t take long at all to adjust it to be clear. The projector image fills up about half of my room and the entire ceiling, so it does not fill the entire room, but I’m sure if we adjusted it enough, we could get it to fill the whole room. It is very quiet when turned on and when running for a while and doesn’t overheat. It could probably even be used as a night-light. Overall I would say this is great projector and a great learning activity for kids and teens.
