This was an awful product. Arrives damaged, I figure ‘give it go’. There ends up being a gap of over an inch in thr front between panels. None of the holes line up to recieve screws. The instructions were written by a blind squirrel with dyslexia. I read drawings and wiring schematics for a living. If your time is cheap, this product is for you. Heads up, whoever designed this product had an extra 21st chromosome, just saying. DO NOT PURCHASE!!Update: After requesting a refund, Amazon’s position it to ship it back to the seller. Ship 250 lbs back in the same packaging?! I stated this was a waste of my time, nevermind impossible to achieve. I do not have a photographic memory to package this junk. It going straight to the dump. Never again!
The product matches the picture exactly. Assembly took an entire evening, as I struggled with the instructions and needed my husbandĂąÂÂs assistance. We encountered some frustration due to the numerous parts involved lol. To expedite the process, I recommend using a drill instead of the provided tools. Overall, I am very pleased with the product!
This productĂąÂÂs instructions are nearly impossible to decode. Once deciphered, the productĂąÂÂs ĂąÂÂpre-drilledù holes do not align, leaving the product looking poorly constructed when complete. On top of that, the product color is misleading. The nail in the coffin, though, is when I laid down on the bed for the first time, the supporting frame cracked. IĂąÂÂm disappointed I paid so much money for such a faulty product. Do not recommend.
The morning after the first night of use, our daughter reached up to turn off the baby monitor and heard a loud crack and pop. Upon inspection, we discovered that the middle sectionĂąÂÂan edge-laminated pieceĂąÂÂhad fractured at its weakest point under normal use. The weight had caused the wood layers to break apart and displaced one of the bed slats.To address this issue, the entire damaged piece was removed for repairs. Initially, the section was glued and clamped back together. Then, a custom-fabricated steel C-shaped piece was installed to reconnect the delaminated portion and provide structural support. To further strengthen the repair, a second metal piece was added on the opposite side to reinforce the wood and create a solid attachment point for the strut.Washers were added to the lateral bolts to prevent the wood from separating again when tightened. The repaired piece was reinstalled and adjusted to fit properly with all the tie-in components. Additional glue was applied to ensure nothing would loosen over time.To prevent future issues, a similar steel reinforcement was installed on the opposite side to strengthen another vulnerable area. Sharp edges were covered, and wood cladding was added to improve weight distribution and increase shear strength in that section. Finally, additional planks were installed at the foot of the bed to provide extra structural support.Cannot return because this piece of furniture took over 4 hours for two engineers to assemble and we could never disassemble and repackage it. There were plenty of very unclear and tricky steps. Recommend not installing latches until after mattress is installed and it is folded up. They will need to be adjusted to accommodate the mattress.It’s a great idea and looks nice from the outside, but the company needs to reinforce this very weak part attached to the struts.
The directions donĂąÂÂt offer clarity. There are place in the directions that the drawing should show placement of parts but we learned the hard way and had to take it apart several times.Then trying to place the bed frame in the cabinet the cabinet literally fell on my husband. I would not recommend this because of the lack of directions.
