Pros:-great sound quality-lots of sounds to choose from-small/portable-can charge the speaker and use wirelessly-light feature – can be adjusted- time feature – you can set the sounds to shut off after preset times or have it run on a loop- glow in the dark buttons (only if in the light prior to being in the dark)I have used this on the go to help calm my little one down and help him sleep. Another great way I have used this is on the door knob outside his door to help drown out noise when we have had people over while he is sleeping. Works great and the sound quality was really amazing.Cons:- cant tell how long battery life is left, no light or notification to know if it is low or should charge before next use-personally I’d prefer a little texture to differentiate between key buttons (volume, power, etc) when in the dark. The buttons only glow shorty after being in light. I personally don’t prefer anything glowing in the room, baby likes it dark.-I wish there was more actual white noise sounds (or pink/brown noise options).Overall a very good purchase, we use it often and have no complaints, the cons are really nit picky and specific to me, but overall, we love it!
A Must Have Product!
I recently purchased the D6 Dreamegg portable sound machine And there is so much to love. The sound machine is very light weight fits in your hand and has a great battery life. It is extremely portable so it has a built-in nightlight which is great for checking up on your baby. The amazing shushing noise is great as it really suits and cons baby helping them stay asleep during the night. The sound machine is so versatile it also has a timer built-in different types of music, fan noises, and also white noise is so you can choose what you like. But the best feature is the nightlight that is built-in and the portability of the product. This will make an excellent gift for new parents and they will very grateful!!!!!! Try out the product. You will not regret it. It is a game changer with sleep training and keeping your kids asleep!
Egg-mazing!!
This product is honestly amazing. Will be buying for the next baby shower I have to go to.First, the egg shape is very cute.Itâs very well made and durable.The light is a nice, warm, dimmable glow.The timer option allows 30/60/90 mins or always on.The sound is very clear and volume control is easy to use.The sound options are all very cute! Not the usual nursery rhymes. The only one I donât care for is the vacuum cleaner option lol.I canât speak for using this for travel as I have not, however, I donât see why it would be a problem!Be aware that this item only comes with a usb charger! Not an issue for us, I just plug it into my iPhone charger cube. The battery lasts for days and I use this every night for 90 mins for my daughter.Donât spend a ton of money, get this sound machine! Youâll likely be as impressed as I was!!
Own both models; Like the newer one more
I bought a DreamEgg for my first and absolutely love it. So when we were setting up a nursery for our second baby, I wanted to get a second. I decided to try the newer model, since it has a few features that the original does not. Compared to the original, it is much smaller and the speaker faces forward instead of up. I find this to be a benefit because you can point the sound in a certain direction (e.g. keep it on the room opposite from the crib and point towards it), rather than have it spread everywhere. This also turned on immediately out of the box without being plugged in, since it can be battery operated. I’m really excited about that, because it means that we can take it on road trips etc. The buttons are smaller than the original, which might be hard for navigating in the dark. But the light operates the exact same way (can cycle between different brightness levels). The thing that sets it apart from the original is that it has all of the same sound options plus a few more… Most notably a “shhhh”, which would have been really helpful when my first was a newborn. It’s a bit creepy sounding, but that was the only thing that worked on my daughter and it was exhausting having to do it for hours.I recommend the Dream Egg to all my new mom friends. It’s a life saver for those first few months, and we still find it really helpful 18 months later.
Excellent customer service and a good product
I purchased two of these sound machines. Weâve really enjoyed the sound quality and portability (nice and compact size, easy to travel with) of this sound machine. Itâs easy to use , the light is nice to have and 8 hours of battery is great.I had an issue with the charging cord port and contacted their customer service for support. I have to say some of the best customer support Iâve ever received! Very prompt responses, kind, and did everything to ensure a great experience with their product (including sending a new device for the issue with charging port). Took one star off the product for issue with charging port but hopefully thatâs resolved in newer models. The new machine they sent me works perfect and no issues with the charging port.
LIFE SAVER!!!
As a mother of 5, very noisey household and light sleepers I was on the hunt for a good sound machine, needless to say I have tried just about everyone on the market and this one is HANDS DOWN THE BEST!! Many settings, volume, nightlight, rechargeable to take on the go, and let me tell you the sound quality is awesome!! We have 5 of them in our house hold which all run pretty much around the clock and the sound has NEVER became distorted like others I have tried. Love this so much I have bought as a baby shower gift for every shower I have been to since discovering it.

Lots of different sounds and volume levels. Has came along on so many trips where we donât have access to electricity. Highly recommend it.
