Only just enough magnets
I wish it came with a few extra magnets, as there is just enough for every spot so you can’t afford to lose one, but otherwise my kid loves it and it’s seeming to work for us
Good but not great
Pros: affordable, colourful, easy to use, fun and engaging way to get wee ones interested in and excited about potty trainingCons: not waterproof (you have to expect it to come into contact with some water at some point given itâs a potty training tool and will be kept in a bathroom). Came in contact with water on counter, huge water stain on back. Magnets arenât strong enough and many came curved upwards. One magnet fell into the toilet because it was so weak. Love the crown but needs to be made of a durable material, not a thin papery cardboard that can rip easily.

This has worked for us!! I have a very reluctant potty trainer. My daughter is almost 3 and perfectly capable of being potty trained, but couldnât be less interested. So I bought this reward chart thinking it would help motivate her. It has worked from day 1! The little unicorns are super cute and what my daughter is very interested in so that was a win! I like that they are reusable magnets and not stickers!! Weâre still not fully potty trained, but this chart has taken the fight out of it. Thereâs 5 behaviors of potty training that are rewarded on this chart:1. Recognizing I have to go2. Sitting in the potty3. Peeing for pooping on potty4. Wiping and flushing ( with help)5. Washing handsEach behavior gets 6 unicorns and then a star-35 magnets in all. We have chosen to reward our daughter with a junior frosty after she gets a star, but you could choose whatever works best for your family.I will say that 30 unicorns for the 5 behaviors seemed a little overwhelming for what I was trying to achieve. I just wanted my daughter to sit on the potty without a fight! So I just punched out enough unicorns to reinforce the first 3 behaviors. (But still practiced flushing and washing.) Now that weâve gotten a potty schedule in place, and my daughter knows and understand the expectations, weâre using the whole chart, and itâs really helping teach her all the steps of going to the bathroom. Highly recommend!
My daughter loves the unicorn theme and really enjoys using the magnets! The magnets aren’t very strong though so they fall off easily. For each line in the chart there’s a different prompt such as “Washed my hands” “I sat on the toilet/potty” “I went pee or poo” etc. We just have our daughter put a magnet on when we finish the whole potty process.
