Goos unit, seems to be accurate and easy to operate. Not as costly as many options out there that do the same thing. Laser dot hard to see under some circumstances, could be brighter (okay at night, hard to see in sunlight).

Great value, bright screen, bright laser, can be switched from C to F, can record highest reading.No complaints other than it has a cut-off of around 600+ but that is normal for these temp guns.

Decimal dot is dead on the temperature figure.
This product was bought on August 2nd 2024. The decimal dot did work for 2 months. However it failed in October under normal usage. The product’s manual stated there is a 2-year-warranty. On 2024 October 25, I submitted a message to state the issue and ask for a product replacement through “feedback to seller” under amazon.ca customer screen.There is no answer for that issue till now 2024Nov15.
Decent product
Don’t waste your money over spending on other thermometers. This works fine. It may be 3-5 degrees off at times, but you’re using it for a BBQ, not a nuclear reactor.

Used to monitor the temperature of a SMD PCB while flowing the solder in a frying pan – so I was measuring temperatures in the range 160C to 200C. Worked well for me and the measured temperature seemed to agree with the melting point for the solder paste I was using.
