We saw someone mention this high chair as working great for small spaces because it folds up nicely and bought it for that reason. What I didnât realize was how easily it unfolds and folds back up. I can hold the baby and use one hand for both, which is so much more convenient than other baby chairs Iâve used and owned. My almost five month old is very comfortable in it and I donât need to remove the tray to get her in or out. The feel of the cushioned vinyl is more comfortable than other hard plastic chairs and wipes clean. It feels very sturdy and safe and I appreciate the click when opening so I know itâs not going anywhere. The tray is large and doesnât wiggle. And as a mega huge bonus it came completely assembled. Definitely recommend!
Iâm glad I got it for how small it folds down to perfect for tight spaces!Compared to other foldable high chairs this is the cheapest for the best quality I could find. It could actually fold more tight than the other chairs I was looking at. Keep the weight limit in mind for a chunky toddler.Other Pros: easy to clean tray and leather (had no issues with cleaning the stitches), lasted great so far for a year and a half of long baby eating sessions and crafts, easy to put together out of the box, to take down, put back up, and take the tray on and off.Cons: way too roomy and large for a baby, didnât have use for the lower rung for feet to rest on yet since itâs so large, the straps are moved too easily where my baby could loosen them a lot so as always make sure you watch your child and it wouldâve given me a better piece of mind to get a 5 strap harness, the straps easily stain (as is the case with most high chairs Iâve looked at), nothing is clothes machine washable.
We were in need of an ACTUALLY compact high chair for our 1 year old after she outgrew her upseat and this chair hits almost all of our needs.Pros:-incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver when folded and unfolded-seat (purchased black for this reason) doesn’t stain and is easily wiped clean after meals-3 pt. Seatbelt is easy to undo with 1 hand-folds incredibly flat and can still stand on its ownCons:-tray stays a good distance from the child, our 20th percentile 1 year old is probably the smallest I’d recommend this to (19 lbs and 28″ tall) since food needs to be reached for-only a 3 point harness, so climbers and adventurous toddlers may stand up in the chair-tray is somewhat difficult to get on and off. You need to step on the bottom bar of the chair to hold it in place while you yank it freeOverall: great toddler high chair with great portability, stain resistant, cheaper than most, stable, and easy to clean while still keeping a classy look. Tray is finicky but not a deal-breaker.
Folds up very small for travel cleans up very nicely had for almost a year. Looks still brand new easy to clean Trey and extended buckle straps
This chair is amazing in that it folds easier than any other high chair on the market that I’m aware of and folds fairly tiny for a full size high chair. But, that being said it has many flaws. Including safety. My 15-month-old son is the exact height and weight of a 2-year-old and the tray is still too far away from him and you cannot adjust it any closer. Even after eating reviews, I thought certainly we could find a way around this, but we cannot. Even with a silicone bib with a very deep pocket, there is still a huge gap between him and the tray. The back of the seat is also the worst ergonomic possible design I’ve ever seen on any high chair. Because it is completely hollow in the fabric goes over it, when the child leans back their back hunches out past the bars under the fabric and the top of their back hits the bars. Therefore, my son hates laying back on this and hunches forward, as he has to do anyway to reach the tray. Lastly, the seat belt is not safe and comes loose with almost any movement at all. Of course I have a very active toddler and he literally just has to lean forward and pull and it comes completely loose and he can get completely out of the chair in about 5 seconds even if he was buckled tightly to begin with. And the fact that there is such a large gap that cannot be closed any further between him and the tray makes it that much easier. So when we do use this I cannot leave him for any amount of time whatsoever. At all. We still use this on a daily basis just because we don’t have room for a giant high chair and we need the space and it was the best option and still is. But, if they fixed the tray being so far away, the back of the chair being absolutely horrible, and the buckle problem it would actually probably be the best high chair on the market today because it is extremely sturdy, compact, and the folding, again, is THE easiest. It’s extremely frustrating to see a product that could easily blow every other high chair on the market out of the water that seems like the engineers just didn’t care after making it compact and foldable. This obviously wasn’t tested on many children if any or these three huge glaring flaws would have been immediately seen and fixed.
