Budget mitre saw dust hood
This was not purchased for it’s intended use, but rather a dust shroud/hood for my mitre saw. Dedicated options exist at 10 times the price so this is much better value.It sits behind my saw and any dust kicked up gets caught in the tent instead for going all over the shop.
SERVES IT’S INTENDED PURPOSE
I live on a high traffic street with lots of ppl in neighborhood walking their dogs down my street right in front of my place. So I use this for my *STOP ‘N SIP H20 STATION’ 4 ppl’s pets during the warmer mns. I use this to keep the water shaded from the afternoon sun, so it works pretty good 4 that. Only issue I find is that on very windy days the top part on one side gets unzipped from the bottom area. If not for the big rock I use to help keep this grounded, I probably would have lost the top part(most important 4 keeping H2O shaded from sun & protected from elements) weeks ago BUT on the flip side…the material is very tuff/well built to withstand those winds & hot intense sun without shredding & degrading!

There is a mesh part at the back so you can open the window cover and tie it up at the back. The window cover velcroes to the bottom when not used.There are 4 tent pegs that come with it, and 2 loops at the front and 2 at the back for the pegs to go through. The loops are on the bottom portion.The whole bottom zippers off, but it cannot be used without the bottom attached. The tent does not stand up without the attached bottom portion.The fabric on the sides is made into side pockets along the bottom. This would be a place to put a tube of sunscreen where it would not get lost.In one of the pictures, it looks like the sand is coming up from the bottom, but the “tent pool” part is all attached and not removable. It appears that the parent added sand to the “pool area” so baby could play in the sand. This tent is perfect to keep babies and toddlers out of the sun while on trips. It folds super easily and cleans easily (sand does not adhere to it, for example). Perfect to use with water as well. Big enough to add stuff for entertainment inside. Fairly priced!
