My dog is a small 8 1/2 pound Chihuahua mix. He used to sit on my lap but was getting bigger and starting to slide around and recently had taken to wanting to sit on the console so he could see out the window.In my video review, I go over all the details and functions of this car seat. I really enjoy all the thoughtful details. This fits perfectly and snuggly between the two front seats of my Jeep Wrangler. In my husbandâs truck the large console is a bit too wide for the straps to attach to the console, but the straps do attach to the car seats, however, my husband doesnât like them being behind his shoulder, so I just sit the box on top of the console and basically hold it in place but itâs still a lot safer than him running around the car or just sitting on my lap. My dog is quite comfortable and much safer and I am no longer a distracted driver.I also like using this inside the shopping cart when I take him with me to the store.
Perfect for my miniature dachshund.. he absolutely loved it. Iâm glad I can take him with me everywhere now and heâs comfortable and gets a good view. The pillow, however, tends to flat more on the outside instead of the inside I had to use Velcro to keep it inside.
It fits great in my Chevy Equinox. My 7 lb yorkie is very comfortable in it and has room to move around. I did add a blanket to make it softer to lay on. I like the side being solid.
Fits my console well. I wish the front wall was abit lower, but my dog doesn’t seem to mind. She had a perfectly comfy car seat, but she kept getting carsick. Riding shotgun on the console seems to have cured that. My dog is 8 lbs. If your dog is any bigger i would try putting him/her in a cardboard box of similar size to see if this would work.
I have a little Yorkie and this car seat is perfect for her. I bought a different one first and it was secured in the passengers seat. It was very nice and she liked it a lot. Every so often she tried to get out of it because she wanted to be closer to me. This seat is on the center console and very secure and she’s happy.
