Awesome little camera
The Rettru A2 Magnetic Wi-Fi Wireless Camera is a compact and versatile home security solution that delivers impressive features for its size. Clear pictures, and small size⦠but not really small camera
To be honest, I was expecting something a little smaller with this camera. However, it is a good, solid little piece of equipment. The battery life is super long! The video feed was crystal clear, as were the âSnapsâ that were recorded on the card. The video recordings, while still quite clear, were a little more low-rez. I still like the idea of having a capture card, and 64Gb is a LOT of room for recording.You do need an app to get things started, but I did not find that difficult to download, or to set up. One thing to be aware of is the camera cannot be mounted without the small magnetic base (two screws). Both the camera and the base have magnetic qualities, but the camera magnet is not really strong enough to hold it in place. Keep in mind where or how you place it, too, because it would be quite easy to be removed by anyone.
Small package with quality output
The camera is a very small size to allow to be place in many locations but while still being large enough to easily manipulate. The stand that come with has it fit magnetically and therefore is easy to setup, recover to recharge, or reposition. The stand can be stick or place it fixed with screw and has some degree of movement to help angle the camera. While the camera will hold very well on it while still easy to pull off. The image quality of this camera is impressive but know that it is a wide display and thus it helps cover a large room, it may not be ideal for regular recording unless you want the wide coverage.The other nifty thing I appreciate here is that they though of allowing to disable the status light, so if you use it to secure a room or check on your kids while away it will be less noticeable. The camera can function also while being charge, so if you set it closed to a power source you can set it permanently in place that way. You can select how long to record on cloud while locally goes on the included SD card or use your own. You can adjust the sensitivity of the trigger or you can set to no trigger and just go see with the app when you need to. The app itself is straight forward, with easy way to review your previous recording or picture and download them from SD/Cloud to your phone. In the view at a glance, you see the network signal, battery status, if charging and light mode.As with similar safety camera, you can speak, listen and take snapshot if you wish in addition to the video recording. Configuration as image flip all the ways to help instance the camera sideways or upside down. There is a scheduling option to tell the camera when to observe and do nothing the rest of the time. This can help battery durability along with using one of the lower, out of 3, trigger sensitivity. You can adjust the power frequency between 60/50hz and set an alarm when a trigger occurs if you place the camera in a place where nothing should be moving. Finally, the app allows easy direct firmware update.
Incredibly compact, lightweight and discreet
This is a great little spy cam if you need it to be. And while it has great versatility for use with wifi, SD card and direct connection, you have the ability to download your photos and video quick and easily.The magnetic base is very strong. And allows great adhesion to metal surfaces. And with its incredibly small size, it can be placed in near any location without detection.Particularly ideal for areas of high theft. Where you need to properly and definitely identify the culprits. Or to ensure safety for your children during care.The performance of this camera is incredible for its size. Providing very good clarity and activities.
Compact, great image quality
Great portable camera with more than fair image quality. The fact that you can set up this anywhere wirelessly in such form factor makes this camera extremely versatile.Itâs not a fast camera, but fast enough to provide a decent image quality on moving objects.Being a small camera it has a few limitations in terms of functionality and software. The application is very simple and easy to use, and provides basic information like motion detection.The camera has a magnet under the case so it can be placed securely in any metallic structure it also comes with a magnetic mount which is very simple to install.The speaker is very bad, you can barely understand voices, however, for this camera, this is a function I donât care about.All in all, very good portable camera with decent image quality and excellent battery life.
