My baby recently needed new socks, and I was looking based on three thing:- will they stay up- do they have traction- do they dig in and leave those awful red marks on himThese socks not only have the stretch spot at the top like most socks, but they also have a stretchy spot at the ankle. So, yes, they stay on! Hallelujah! This also keeps them from digging in an extra lot at the top, so they’re not messing up his circulation.The brand stamp on the bottom offers a little traction, but it’s not exactly what I would call ‘having traction.’ Of course, most babies of my son’s age don’t actually need it, but I feel like that last little bit would take these socks over the top.Bonus – they’re not cheap and falling apart, and they’ve got a nice knit to them. They’re light. They’re airy. They’re great summer socks. They fit easily into soft shoes. Don’t buy these as heavy winter socks. Heading into summer, though, I’m quite certain we’ll be getting plenty of use out of these.
Hands down, the BEST baby socks I’ve found to date. These are the only socks we’ve tried so far that actually stay on all the way (ie., not just still on but with the heel of the sock halfway down the length of his foot). They are a little more expensive but are a good thickness and just stay on so much better than other socks that they are worth it.
These socks. I have 3 kids under 5 and I have tried all the socks. None compare to these little genius socks! My 5 month old is a master sock kicker, we can’t keep socks on the kid. I ordered these on a whim and OMG, best socks ever. TRULY KICK PROOF. Hubs put baby to bed in socks not footie pjs and she woke up WITH THE SOCKS ON. I’m sold. I will buy these over and over and give them as gifts.
Forget about the triple-cuff socks from your favorite baby mega store. These socks actually stay on kicking little feet. I’d just about given up finding socks that would stay on my almost 4-month-old, but these do the trick. The key is to make sure that you buy a big enough size. My guy has been wearing the 6-12 month size since he was 3 months old.Follow up: The 6-12 month size no longer fits my 6-month-old, and as a result they don’t stay on as well anymore. I’m going order the next size up.
These socks are great quality, but I had to get the 6-12 month socks for my 3 month old. He is a big boy with fat little feet, so I’m not sure if it’s that, or if they run small.
