Amazing puzzle!
I ordered this to keep my Dad busy during a family cottage week (he’s 77). It was a HUGE hit with him, and the grandkids. The instructions were super easy to follow and the puzzle itself was really well made. The finished marble track worked perfectly and everyone loved being a part of building it. Already ordered the next one!
Much Patience Required
My 11 year old daughter enjoyed building this but was also frequently frustrated by how easily the delicate wood pieces broke. We had to glue many many of them back together. Just be sure you have a gentle touch if you plan to make this model.

Annoying assembly
Instructions only give 1 perspective making it very difficult to figure out how to put pieces together. The washers are particularly annoying since the tool you’re supposed to use provides no help in sliding them on the small rods. The amount of pressure required puts breaking the whole structure at high risk. And if you accidentally put a piece on wrong, you’re screwed as there really is no turning back.I’m sure this will look great when it’s done, but right now it’s been 5 hours since I started and I am not even close to finishing it.UPDATE:Changed my review down to 1 star.There is absolutely no backpedalling if you make a mistake. If you make a mistake, you break it. The clear sleeves are impossible to get on or off and will break the part you’re trying to attach them to. You need a gentle touch for building this and yet you need to put so much pressure on the tool just to slide these sleeves on.I just wasted money on something I can now never finish because these parts are impossible to use and will break during assembly.

The packaging was very well put together and they supplied plenty of extra parts to help put the model together. The instructions were easy to follow and even my seven-year-old was able to help create the track system. He received this from his grandparents as a Christmas gift and while it was a little too advanced for him to put together, he did enjoy helping out with the easy pieces. Once complete he was raving at how much fun it was to watch the balls in action. He hasn’t stopped talking about it to his friends.

Built this with my grandson. It was a real challenge but worth it. The biggest problem is with the instruction manual; it just does not give enough detail for some parts of the build. So, plan to spend some time figuring out some things on your own.It is also relatively easy to break pieces during assembly. It is absolutely necessary that you have some gel crazy glue on hand. Not just to repair any pieces you’ve broken but also to hold parts together that won’t stay together on their own. Just be sure the assembly you are gluing together is correctly assembled because gel crazy glue holds almost too good.
