Great toilet seat for family with children
I wish we had upgraded our toilet with this toddler seat sooner. If youâre a parent, you know the struggle of dealing with bulky, detachable toddler seats that seem to always be in the way. They are ok
The middle part for a kid does not have a self closing feature and the magnet is not strong enough to keep in place, so you can’t call it a slow closing really. The mid part slams hard and whe you open the top lid, the middle part stays down since the magnet is too weak. Not like the other brands I ordered before, just too bad they are not available at the moment
Good quick release feature
I ordered the round model of this toilet seat. It fits standard toilet. Installation is not difficult. It is just the pictures are not very clear. But it is not hard to figure it out.This toilet seat uses plastic parts. Some may not like it, thinking it may not be durable. But I prefer plastic screws and nuts. My old toilet seat has the screw rusted out, almost cannot uninstall it. That’s why I like plastic more.I also like the quick release feature. The description or manual does not explain much about it. With that feature, I can just open the screw cap, and then slowly rock the seat out, so I can clean the toilet bowl without the seat gets in the way. When I finish cleaning, I can slide the seat back in. It works very well, at least when it is new.Finally is the slow closing feature. It works very well. No more noise when I drop the seat back on. It is just I feel it closing too slow.Overall, I am satisfy with this toilet seat. It basically meets all my expectation.
Sturdy With A Slow Soft Close
It arrived in excellent time and was packaged very well inside a cardboard box with padding. It was brand new, in perfect condition, and defect-free.This was the perfect fit for my rounded toilet. Installation was very straightforward, with the included instructions being very easy to follow. It has a solid lid that can support my 195 lbs. without buckling. The toilet seat is comfortable as well and holds in place perfectly, even though it does not have rubber knobs on it. Compared to my other quiet close toilet, this one functions a bit better. It does take a while for it to fully close itself, but I cannot hear it at all when it touches down. (my other toilet seat makes a very low amount of noise when it touches down.)For it’s good solid build quality and excellent soft-close performance, I am very pleased with this product. It would be nice if it had rubber knobs on the bottom of the seat, though. I rate it a 4.5 but rounded up on the rating.
