Rubbermaid made great closet organizers
Now you can barely find these once great closet organizers. Hope they make a comeback. Hate the cheap ones. Easy to install and worth the price.

Product is great as far as Rubbermaid Configurations HOWEVER this kit lacks the âuprightsâ and 4 is needed so your better off buying the other COMPLETE KIT !
Good supplemental shelves
Supplemented the 3-6 foot closet kit with this set of shelves. Worked well for additional storage â more practical for shoes, even, than the set of shoe shelves.PS: The description is pretty clear, all you whiners and gripers: it is a set of shelves to extend your closet. Not a full closet set.
Doesnât come with wall bars
Beware, this is only the shelf and the pole. It does not come with the brackets to hang it on the wall so you canât actually extend your closet organizer or use it for a small closet. Itâs pretty pointless in most situations the wall brackets.

The add on gives you those extra pieces to create this nice storage shelf unit.All in all, I purchased the Rubbermaid 3-6 foot Deluxe Custom Closet kit and the Add On. Additional pieces I purchased separately include uprights, extenders, and rod hangers. My closet organizer cost me less than $300.00. I did all the work myself. You really must have a good leveler, and a good quality stud finder.

This made my closet so much more organized. It was fairly easy to install. The only issue to be aware of when installing is the wall condition. We were converting a hall laundry closet to a linen and cleaning closet. There some unexpected quirks, but due to the flexibility of the system, we were able to work around them. We bought the add-on shelf kit for more shelves, but I think for a standard closet, the basic kit would suffice. We are very happy with it and recommend it for cost conscious consumers who want a good product.
I had a smidge over 26″ to figure out how to hang baby clothes in my nursery. This kit just barely fit. It was okay to install, I did it on my own, in less than an hour, while being heavily pregnant. I bought 2 of the uprights separately and used duct tape to hang them until I could drill the pilot holes and secure them. I bought 2 of these kits, but I think I could have gotten away with just 1, as they do use up a fair amount of space on the upright. Thankfully, they are completely adjustable for when her clothes are too long to hang on the current setup.
