I originally got these curtains to make a mock theater for a party, but I made sure that I got a size I could use in my house as well. They looked amazing as theater curtains and now they block a lot (but not all) light in my office.

Well made. Excellent stitching. Heavy material. Three ways to hang. I previously did not know about the back tab option. Without fussing, the back tab method presents a cleaner look than pushed onto a rod. I took these pictures without doing any extra messing around with the material. I might post some better pictures later. I have purchased from RYB before. Every curtain exactly met the description. This new VELVET material will not disappoint. The color matching was straight forward. My walls are an ancient copper color. My RYB Velvet curtains are called rust.A comparison: While painting I purchased a gold âvelvet typeâ from the wally mart. Their gold color was pretty but 1/4 of the weight and thickness of these.(I tried gold for a contrast to my wall color) In addition, I would have to purchase 2 or 3 sets to cover this same distance. Hands down RYB Velvet curtains are the only choice if you want quality, good price and hanging options.The light blocking, length, and color choice are all well described in the product description.I highly recommend these Velvet curtains.(I was so impressed that I jumped on Amazon to write this review and take pictures immediately.)
A nice weighted velvet style curtain. Exactly what I wanted in a beautiful rich color. I love how dog hair doesnât stick to this fabric. The curtain is more like a black out curtain. It is not sheer at all.
The curtains arrived quickly. They are good quality but did not suit the room when I hung them up. I was able to return them and was promptly refunded the purchase price.
I NEVER write reviews. I bought these for my sonâs room, and my husband who works overnights sleeps in there sometimes. He needs a dark room, and these curtains do the trick. You can see from the photo (taken at 2pm) that there is a sliver of light on the side, which could be fixed by a different curtain rod or maybe some Velcro dots. I like having the option for either back tab or rod pocket. We used the back tabs to get accordion pleats in the top. The color is true to photos and a deep, rich navy. Miraculously, they hung without creases straight out of the package and had no odor. But the main thing is the FABRIC. We couldnât get over how nice, heavy, and soft these are. I said out loud, âI have to review theseâ, and here I am. These are unbeatable, especially considering the price!
These curtains were exactly as I had hoped. Nice thick velvet, and the perfect dark Teal color against my Robinâs Egg Blue walls. There were hardly any creases in them so I didnât need to iron them. Iâd say they really arenât room darkening because they donât have the blackout liner on them, but the darkest colors are thick enough that it should be close to blackout. These were for my sewing room, so I didnât need complete blackout, just dark enough so that when Iâm sewing in the evenings, you canât see them not the room if I draw the drapes closed. They were the perfect length too. Both sides even.
