It fits my baby nicely. The way the padding is makes the baby float comfortably on her back which is great for minimal head control. It did not interfere with her sitting either. Quality is fantastic. Very happy with this purchase!
Great life jacket
I ordered 2 of these the pink and green both are really nice. The pink one is advertised with a whale on the front but mine came with a duck ( not a big deal still super cute ). These jackets are made with good materials, fit babies good ( lots of adjustment options ) I have not tired to see how the babies float in them as the water has been cold here but overall good product. Made in Canada ðð

Exactly what I was looking for!! It is SO hard to find a life jacket for babies and this one is perfect! It keeps my 3 month old (approx 12lbs) afloat and keeps her on her back aswell. Fit is perfect, and has adjustable straps so lots of room for growing!

More Comfort
I purchased the Salus Bijoux Baby Red life jacket after our son and daughter-in-law brought our infant granddaughter for a boat ride wearing the infant life jacket they had for her. The poor baby, as they sat her on their lap or the seat of the boat, the jacket rode up her body with the zipper squishing into her face and in particular her eyes. She could see nothing, she couldnât move and she looked horribly uncomfortable. As soon as we got back to shore, I went to amazon.ca and order the Bijoux.Delivery time was as expected and the jacket provided much more comfort for our granddaughter. She is able to move her arms and legs much more freely and no more zipper in her face/eyes.

Keeps baby on its back, safe. Can not physically turn face down in pool when wearing this life vest. Easy to fit.
Easy to use, kept baby safe
We spend time on boats that I needed something very safe but they don’t make transport Canada approved life vests for under 20 pounds. This vest kept my baby’s head out of the water (still within my arm’s reach), he was able to move around and I felt he was safe.
I bought this as a gift for a baby shower and they loved it. It fits the baby comfortably and they are able to safely take the baby on the boat.
Awesome life jacket. We tried a couple life jackets but my son hated all of them until we found this one. The fit is unique and itâs the only one that didnât nearly choke him. Itâs technically not US coastguard approved but after checking out the brand (Canadian brand) and the other credentials of the best I felt good about it. Wish it was good for a little longer (goes up to 25 Ibs I believe) especially for the price, but worth it if you want to enjoy boat/water time with you little one safely.
Our child started wearing this at 6 months and he still fits in it at 11 months, with PLENTY of room left. He is skinny but really long. He seems so comfortable in it and it is easy to hold him when he is wearing and is not bulky. The handles on the jacket are really nice for handing him off to another boat passenger too, and for extra security. Overall this thing is awesome and totally worth buying for your infant, for quality and comfort!
Living in southwest Florida I had my little one on the boat by 3 months. Her first two life jackets were a nightmare. She did nothing but scream which caused for a miserable boat ride. I stumbled across this and decided that even though it wasn’t USCG approved I would try it. It truly has been the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon. She went from having a miserable time on the boat to a smiling happy baby. Now at 7 months she has no problem wearing it and I feel completely confident that is will preform the way a USCG approved life jack will in the case of an emergency.
This was a great purchase. Being a lake family who spends weekends on the boat, the safety of my newborn boy was a huge concern. Research led me to understanding there was no true great option for infants under 25 lbs. the smallest USCG approved jackets tend to flip babies face down in water and donât fit smaller babies either. Way too big. This option looked promising and it delivered. Fit my son well at 3 months and could so easily lay and nap with the life jacket on comfortably. I was confident with my our first swim and every one after. We keep a hand on him at all times in the water. Take time to adjust fitment for proper buoyancy. The handle at the top works very well for any lifting out water if necessary.
