  1. Exceptional Performance and Versatility, The Perfect 2-in-1 Laptop
The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is everything I hoped for and more! After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best 2-in-1 laptops I’ve owned. From its sleek design to its powerful performance, this laptop delivers on all fronts.Performance-wise, it’s a powerhouse. The Intel Core processor handles multitasking with ease—whether I’m running multiple apps, editing videos, or streaming content, everything runs smoothly without lag. The 16GB RAM and fast SSD storage ensure lightning-fast performance, and I haven’t experienced any slowdowns, even with heavy workloads. The 360-degree hinge is sturdy and smooth, making it easy to switch between laptop and tablet modes. The S Pen included is a game-changer for taking notes, drawing, or navigating the device with precision. It feels natural to use, especially when editing photos or jotting down ideas on the go.The AMOLED display is simply stunning. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and the details are crisp—perfect for streaming movies, graphic design, or photo editing. The touchscreen is responsive and intuitive, adding to the overall premium feel of the device.Battery life is another standout feature. I easily get over 14 hours of use on a single charge, which is perfect for all-day work or travel. Plus, the fast charging feature is incredibly convenient—getting hours of use with just a short charge.Build quality is top-notch. The ultra-slim, lightweight design makes it easy to carry, and the aluminum finish gives it a premium look and feel. Despite being lightweight, it feels durable and well-built.

  2. It was time to try something different…
… and I am glad I did.Principally I was tired of poor battery life on the laptops I was buying. They would purport 6-8 hours but would give only 2-3 hours max. I began to think that nothing like 6 hours was even possible. This laptop was pushed to me by Amazon. I looked. There weren’t many reviews posted so went to other sources. The reviews were favourable to excellent. The aluminum build quality was praised across all the reviews and it is amazing. Very clean. Rounded corners. Very nice. Some commented on a hinge that would let the screen wobble a bit. I have not had that experience. The reviews talked about the screen and its sharpness and colour. It is very good to excellent. The speakers are excellent for such a thin laptop. Some reviewers felt for the price it should come with 32 GB of RAM instead of 16 GB. Sure it would have been a plus but nothing I do requires 32 GB. And the 1 TB SSD is good enough for me.Other reviewers commented on the keyboard and the lack of travel of the keys. It is a super thin keyboard so I don’t know what they were expecting. I think the travel is good. The only complaint I have so far is with the keyboard layout. The shift key on the LHS of the keyboard is half size in order for Samsung to put a numerical pad on the laptop. It gets some getting used to. And the Canadian version of the laptop which it is shipping in Canada has a bilingual keyboard. Not such a huge issue but I prefer a cleaner keyboard. And now to the question of the battery life. Simply put it is amazing and a wonderful surprise. I can get 8 hours on it no issues. Well done Samsung.I have been using this laptop daily and I have never used any of my prior laptop as my daily computer which says something about this product. All in all it is a very good to excellent laptop for my needs.

  3. Thumb reader stopped working after a month.
Overall, I like the laptop. It has a nice screen and it has some great features. The trackpad is really big and it takes some getting used to it. The pen is okay, but doesn’t do as much as the Microsoft pen.I really liked the thumb reader when it worked, but i am pretty sad it stopped working after about a month of use. I still like the laptop, but it makes me question the longevity of this computer. So I’m on the fence about it.

  4. Almost there
I first bought the Book4 Edge arm 4 months ago and this is an x64 replacement because there’s no reasonable way to restore the OS on a Windows on arm (WoA) computer once the recovery partition is FUBAR.The display with Windows’ HDR enabled is a gorgeous 16 inches that is lacking in competitors’ Lunar Lake products thus far, but it comes with the compromise of 16G RAM with the 256V SoC rather than the 258V or 288V. The only reason I hesitate in buying Samsung products is when they don’t use the best SoC. I had to get this over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so I have a working laptop before the next business day.I was pleasantly surprised that it both came with a stylus and folded into a tablet. Ah, hence the weird hinge and 360 nomenclature, and wow, I got more than I thought I was buying. It booted off both Windows PE and Clonezilla external media unlike the bane of arm computers, so I could image the factory install and take regular image backups, thereby preventing the FUBAR situation impossible with WoA after the first time of using Internet recovery of the OS that wipes the recovery partition, preventing future restores. It obviously feels like a laptop SoC in performance albeit a decent one. Not the quickest response, but there are no better options unless you consider the older Book4 Ultra without WiFi7, which would be a mistake since WiFi7 (with MLO) is incredulously fast compared to 6E.Essentially the best for now if you don’t need 32G RAM such as for Adobe Lightroom, or the fastest multi-core performace. I doubt there’s anything better on the horizon with integrated GPU, as next generation processors would omit the Arc Xe2 for the previous Meteor Lake gen Arc Xe, plus its a desktop part.
