Nice little noise machine, limited sound selection if for professional use
I decided to get this small white noise for the client waiting room in the office I work at to keep confidentiality the best we can. It seemed like this would be good enough for this kind of use.Included in the packaging is the white noise machine, a USB C to USB a for charging and a user guide. On the top of the machine, there are a total of 7 buttons and a light. There is a USB C port for charging on the side and a speaker + anti-slip pad on the bottom.More precisely, the controls are as follows: there is a power button to power the noises or to mute it temporarily, 2 buttons for sound selection, 2 buttons for volume control, a button for the timer function and a power button for the light. To activate the light, press a single time, to change the light, press a single time and to close it, quickly press twice.There are a total of 18 different sounds. All of them are high quality, but might not be useful to you. There are different types of white noise, rain, train rail, clock, bonfire, waves, etc. For my use case, the waves sound is the best one out there, the other one doesn’t quite fit the clinic ambiance.The battery life is quite good and can even be hung on a door knob or wherever you need. It also can get pretty loud, but it will start to distort on the higher level. If there were more subtil sounds, I guess it would have been better for my use case, but I still highly recommend it!

Belle boite à musique pour votre bébé qui me semble solide, au même titre que celle de son genre.La petite sangle est assez compliquée à mettre dans le trou sous la boite à musique, si comme moi, vous nâêtes pas très habile et que vous nâavez pas de très petite pince à épiler (jâai fini par y arriver à lâaide dâun cure-dentâ¦) je la trouve très petite, ce qui est dommage car je ne peux pas suspendre la boite à musique dans le haut de la couchette de mon fils. Je suis forcé de la mettre sur les barreaux. Heureusement, comme la sangle semble être en silicone, la boite à musique ne glisse pas pour notre part. Malgré tout, jâaurais préféré la mettre dans le haut de la couchette.La lumière est assez particulière et je dois être honnête, jâai été forcé de lire le manuel pour comprendre que vous deviez maintenir le bouton de la lumière pour changer lâintensité. La raison pour laquelle je dis quâelle est particulière, câest que la plus forte intensité brille beaucoup trop et la plus faible ne brille quasiment pas. Heureusement, il semble avoir dâautres intensités entre ces deux extrêmes. Il vous suffira de maintenir et voir ce qui vous conviendra le mieux pour votre bébé !Pour les musiques, je vous recommande de ne pas la mettre trop forte. Personnellement, jâai eu lâimpression que le son était de mauvaise qualité lorsque le volume est trop fort, autrement, câest adéquat de ce que vous pourrez attendre de ce produit ! Bonne variété, même si je suis personnellement moins fan des nombreux sons disponibles. Jâaurais aimé quâil y ait un peu plus que deux choix de berceuses, mais câest purement un goût personnel.Minuterie de 30/60/90 minutes disponible. Vous pouvez ne pas la programmer et la boite à musique jouera toute la nuit.En conclusion, ça reste une bonne option, portative et adéquate malgré quelques détails qui auraient pu être mieux à mon avis ! Jâaime beaucoup quâelle soit rechargeable, ce qui est pratique lorsque vous sortez ! Le fil de recharge de la machine à bruit est inclus dans la boîte.

Sounds are pretty realistic…
This is an interesting gadget. I have been sleeping to the sound of a fan for years and years and even if it is cold (like all winter long) I need my fan running as I need the noise as much as the cold. The different sounds are: 1-3 white noise, fan, hair dryer, womb heartbeat, fetal sound, hush, ocean wave, mountain stream, water dripping, rain, wood burning in a fireplace, chirping of insects, frogs, ticking clock and 17-18 lullaby. I like that it has memory function and can remember my settings so I don’t have to do it every time. The ocean waves is my favorite. Most of the sounds are pretty realistic and I was able to identify them as I cycled through them. I don’t really care for the white noise and the fan of which I wanted this for I don’t think I really like It as it reminds me of the old noisy sounding fans that were really really noisy from my childhood. But I do love the ocean waves and if I close my eyes I feel like I am lying a a beach somewhere. The other sounds are also pretty good and I really like the lullabies. So from changing the light color, dimming, different sounds, different preset times to play, adjust the brightness or even turn off the lights it’s a cute little gadget. Not expensive and even has a 20% off coupon so great deal too. Happy enough with this product and the different sound options it gives. I can see the benefit and how it would soothe babies, pets and anyone who needs some type of sound to fall asleep too. I didn’t find the instructions that helpful and really just by looking and playing with the buttons you can figure everything out. I do like that the timer function has different colored lights so you now at a glance what your time is set too. I don’t love it but I do like it and can see myself using it and over time my like will probably grow.

I love white noise machines because they are so soothing.This machine comes with a usb cord (no base) for charging and a strap that you can put on the device if you choose along with instructions for use although it is intuitive. You can place it on a timer for 15, 30 and 60 minutes.The device can sit in the palm of an adult’s hand. I like the crickets sound, and it does sound authentic. It has various water noises including drops of water. The wave sounds like an ultrasound. The lullaby sound is not a recognizable song but it is nice, you hear the piano and the guitar. This should be soothing for little ones once you find the sound that soothes you and or your baby.When you turn the machine off and turn it back on it will stay on the last setting preventing you from finding your favorite soothing sound.I like that you can strap this to a baby carriage, or anything else, or leave it placed on a table or nightstand, or next to a crib. There are a variety of lights to choose from including a couple of white lights one bright and the other has a glow to it. You can use the sound with or without the lights on. This also makes a nice little nightlight in any room.For around $20 this is a good value and a nice little gift.

It is a portable and small little machine that easily fit in the palm of my hand. It arrived to me pre-charged but also included a USB power cord for charging.I will admit I had to read the directions pretty thoroughly to figure out exactly how to work this, and learn what buttons did what; I think the directions could have been done better.After reading through step by step I was able to achieve the understanding needed to give this a try.This noise machine has a built in nightlight on the top with a cut out pattern of stars and the moon. It can light up in different colors, but I found most of them especially the red a bit off putting. Blue was my favorite. This also has a variety of sound affects you can scroll through; some were more pleasant than others. While it is a White noise machine I didnât like that sound on this, I found it to sharp.My 2 favorite sounds on the machine were the Crickets and the Lullaby song. Crickets is by far the best. I really liked there were options on this appealing to both adults and children.The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is I found the machine over complicated. I think in order to make the machine small and compact they put the different functions and options into less buttons. But for the user it makes is confusing and un-user friendly. I had to go through the directions step by step to test each option out. There are different lights and each one being illuminated means its own thing. It has arrow buttons to move left and right from different sounds and it advices you to do short holds and long holds of different buttons to use different settings. So for example perhaps a long hold of a button turns the machine off, where a short hold of that same button lets you scroll through sounds and a different button lets you select it altogether.I did really like that it comes with a memory feature and it will remember what your last option and preferred settings are.I am sure once you have used the machine a few times you will catch on and learn each setting rather quickly. I can see this being relaxing for babies and children, as well as comforting. Having the option of comforting sounds plus a nightlight is probably the coolest part. The fact that both adults and children can use this makes it worth trying!

Itâs a nice lightweight portable machine.Eye appealing design. The moon, star and cloud design through which the light shines is cute though I wish the actual shapes would perhaps illuminate up onto the ceiling. They however do not and itâs just one âblobâ of light that is projected.I like the silicone loop strap that is included. It might be a tad challenging to initially secure in place but once youâve done that, itâs good to go.It comes with a small instruction pamphlet which packs A LOT of information into too small of an area of space. It makes it difficult, if not impossible to read through the one giant run on sentence (âInstructions for useâ). The diagram which lets you know what button is for what purpose is more useful than the actual instructions in my opinion, though there are some operational nuances which one would not get from the diagram alone.There are 18 different sounds. Pretty much the typical sounds one expects on a sound machine. Some sound a bit tinny but others are more realistic. Something for everyoneâs preference or taste.Familiarize yourself with where the volume control buttons are before turning this on for the first time because the first time you turn this on is what I would consider it âstartling loudâ (especially if you are in a quiet room)Being able to change the colors of the nightlight is a nice feature.Weight wise I really like that it is lightweight and will be easy to carry along when traveling.Itâs a nice little machine that does what it says it will do. Iâm taking a bit off the rating because the instruction manual, in my opinion is just too âbusyâ for optimal use and while some of the buttons on the machine are self explanatory, others (ie hold the light button down to turn the brightness up and down, etc) are not all that intuitive by looking at them.
I’ve been using sound machines for the last 15 years and I’m happy to see they’ve gotten so small and portable over the years. The size of this one is fantastic because it doesn’t take up much real estate on my night table and I can hang it on a door knob. I love that it’s rechargeable and holds a charge for almost a week! For such a small thing, it’s loud, even on the quietest setting. It has a nice range of sounds that don’t sound too loopy and the little night light has come in handy. The timer function works well. It’s my least favorite noise machine though, because the icon for each button function is difficult to distinguish and the long and short presses are confusing. I always fumble my way through to set it up and it’s frustrating.
