I absolutely love this tea for my baby. My baby is very gassy, was colicky, would get really fussy, wasn’t wanting to sleep good, and has acid reflux. The acid reflux would occasionally cause him to choke and start gasping for air. But since I have been drinking this tea and nursing him he has been night and day different. He is still gassy but can relieve it for the most part himself. Sleeps amazing at night and not near as fussy as he was. I would recommend this tea for anybody not just colicky, gassy, & upset fussy babies! I did not see or know about the night time tea but I’m definitely going to give that a try. I make this tea and drink it twice a day; once in the morning and once at night. I put a little teaspoon of sugar anda teaspoon of honey in it and drink it before I nurse him. And the amazing part about this tea other than the fact that it helps my baby…is the tea has fennel in it which helps increase your breast milk and make it stronger! Love it!
My initial deduction of the productâs claims to sooth colic was that it must be an elaborate practical joke. The first time I brewed it, it smelled like fermented vomit and axle grease. To begin with, our only success in stopping the crying was to offer him the tea â which made him as tight lipped as a monk under a vow of silence… until the bottle was taken away. Then it was grunting & crying around the clock. After 30 or 40 days of sleep deprivation, it finally dawned on me to mix it with formula, and wait until he was starving. The difference was incredible! I can sleep inside the house at night again. And I no longer have thoughts of running away when I go out (my wife also admits her thoughts of killing me have subsided… somewhat).
It has definitely helped. By the time she was 3 weeks old, my daughter was on her third formula and was still having issues. One would help with her constipation, but she would be screaming with gas pains all night, the next would settle her tummy but cause terrible constipation. We finally ordered some tea for her and (although it stinks) she’s certainly doing better. Less fussing, more sleeping, an all around content baby. What more could I ask for?
This tea is amazing! My son has had some digestive issues since he was born. We started using this tea when he was 4 weeks old and since then he feels so much better. He sleeps for more than an hour at a time, which makes me feel better. He used to wake up screaming several times during the day and night, now he doesn’t do that. He also seems to like the taste. Since we started using this, he wakes up less often and it’s clear that he is not in pain. I am not sure what we would do without this. It is truly amazing!
