Motion sensor is great
Love the fact that the light comes on when someone walks by at night. Just enough to help you find your way. Good flashlight for power outage; also comes on automatically when power goes out. Very satisfied with it.
does exactly what I want
We have 3 bathrooms that have no window so if the power goes out while you are in there you are in the dark. I have purchased various battery operated motion sensor lights but don’t like using batteries – they have to be replaced and you can still wind up in the dark if the batteries have died. I had two lights similar to this one but after two years the motion sensor failed in one and the light was on constantly, or could be switched on and off with the switch. It no longer worked as an emergency light. It took a year to find these – most lights insist on being a nightlight so come on constantly when light is low. I bought two of these. One works perfectly. It’s bright enough to light the room so you don’t need to put on the overhead light if you don’t want to and stays on long enough for most trips to the bathroom. If it goes off then a simple movement puts it back on. The other one is in a dark hallway and works as we want except that it seems to come on at random times. We haven’t worked out if there is anything causing it but as it isn’t anywhere where it shines at us at night we aren’t concerned. A plus on this model over the previous one we bought is that it is small enough that it does not block the other outlet so you can still plug in something else at the same time. UPDATE May 29, 2021 – just had our first major power cut. They both came on and stayed on for the full 2 1/2 hours until the power came back on and were still bright so would go longer.

Excellent quality! The only reason I deducted a star was it doesn’t dim down to a night light it’s either motion or off otherwise it’s nice and bright with great motion detection ability.
Durable and works great
Has worked well for the past 3 years primarily as a hallway motion-sensing light and, once in a while, as a flashlight for household projects. Has survived numerous drops and mishandlings. While our power supply rarely goes off, this has been a good emergency light and automatically lights up when the power goes off. Just about to buy my second one for another location in our place.

Great until it suddenly died after the first time I used it as a flashlight
I loved this product. Some say it turns on by itself. I never experienced that. However I have cats so it might and I just blamed it on the cats. I am sad however that it stopped working right after I used did as a flashlight in my first power outage. I donât know if it is linked, but it is strange that it stopped right after.

Update: It’s been 11 months since I got this light. It is barely producing light now. It will die any day now.Good motion sensor, but light is too dim
Excellent While It Lasts
I bought this for a senior with vision and mobility issues. It’s excellent while it lasts, nice and bright and sensitive to motion in the room, but after a couple of years it starts to come on for no reason, i.e., as if a ghost walked by, and this continues for a few days, after which the motion sensor stops working altogether. (It still works as a flashlight.) What makes this model special is the bright, warm light, important for elderly eyes.
Needed this for my late night bathroom breaks. Works great! Bright and clear. Highly recommended.
This product is not for the UK market. It does not have a 3 pin plug. I either have to return the item or purchase an adaptor for it.
I purchased 2 years ago. They finally would not charge anymore. When I saw these lights I purchased 2. I have one at the bottom of the steps, and one in the upstairs hallway. Very handy if the power should go out. You know where to go to get a flashlight. They are also bright. Power went out again. I got right on amazon and purchased 3 more of these lights. I love them. My whole downstairs it lit up with them. I also have 4 house cats and when the power goes out they do a lot of walking, I am afraid I am going to trip over 1 or all of them. These lights come on and it is wonderful. I can see all of the cats and where they are Get them you won’t be sorry,

My front door to my apartment, there is a long narrow hallway. When you first enter, you have to go towards the end of the hallway to turn on a light. Kind of a pain, when coming home and my hands are full. This hallway is dark during the day and night. This light is impressive. I open my front door light comes right on. Very sensitive to motion. If my hallway light is on it stays off but it usually comes on before I can turn on the light switch. Since I have put the light in the hallway. I have recieved a lot of compliments and inquiries on where to get one of these. It really is a big help to me. I don’t have to leave a light on in the hallway when I go out. I get to come home and not fumble around in the dark. I haven’t seen this in action due to a power outage but give it time. It will happen. I have used it as a flashlight and it’s easy to slide out of its holder off the wall and easy to slide back in when done. Anything that will help me during a power outage is welcomed by me. I recommend this product.
