Exceeded Expectations Greatly .. 2.5yrs in and still perfect.
I paid for this item, and no promotion given for a review. Reviewing this item just because I recommend it to all my friends and feel its a great product.Purchased March 2020.2.5 years ago and its still the best bath mat I’ve ever owned.I saw some other reviews and not sure where they are comming from, my experience is greatly different.I had super low expectations being the cheap cost.And I had a tub that became slicker than oil when wet.But I tried it.It truly was a miracle, and still is in a different rub today.1. It does fit the entire bottom of the tub. So no trying to stand in one tiny spot.2. It doesn’t move a millimeter once in place3. It doesn’t get slippery when using (it may if you dump soap all over it first but that isn’t how you should ever bathe anyways).4. The smell – some reviews mention a smell. I believe it had that typical plastic smell at first. Very very quickly went away and never noticed again.5. It doesn’t stain. Not unless your using a product on it that is literally ripping the colour out of the item.. theres no colour leeching here! The only circular marks I’ve seen from it.. were legit just soap scum / dirt. You do need to clean under it.6. Theres like 50 suctioncups. It does take a few minutes to get it all stuck down. But that sucker is STUCK once it is. It’s not sending you sliding across the tub Tom Cruise style.Absolutely recommend this mat 1000%. It is probably the sole reason I haven’t broken my neck yet. 😁

Great mat
I bought this mat blue, actually called Aqua, had a slight plastic smell which faded by 10 days of use.It is soft with great coverage of the tub and fantastic suction. I will buy again.

Great mat BUT has a horrible smell!
I gave it 3 stars because the smell grosses me out. Don’t know if it’s just mine. But that’s my warning!As a bathtub mat, it’s actually great. I like the length, suction, colour and feel though I can’t say if it will perform well long but I absolutely can’t stand the smell!It’s been weeks now and we’ve even tried to hang it outside several times to air out and inside too after every shower but the smell persists. Even after all the rinsing we did and all the showers it already sustained. I’ve never had a mat or any similar product stink like that. It’s a weird smell, not like rubber or plastic smell but a very strong smell that feels toxic and that we all think of as weed aka the marijuana fumes…bleh… some people might not mind it but my kids and I hate it! Every time we go in the bathroom, that’s basically all we smell now, that’s how overwhelming it is, despite all the other nice smells of air freshener, soap and shampoo etc. It’s honestly a bummer. I can’t return it, obviously too late for that but I really hope the smell will eventually subside and disappear. Because right now, it just plain stinks!Also update, I didn’t see other reviews complaining about it before I purchased, and to the one review stating that it is “hysteria”, sorry but nope, they either got a mat which doesn’t smell as bad as mine or they don’t have a sensitive sense of smell. Either way, it is NOT made up, it’s really bad! Even my son who is constantly plugged from allergies can smell it! 😩

I can’t say enough good things about the SlipX Solutions Power Grip Extra Long Bath Tub & Shower Mat! As I get older, slipping and falling in the bathroom is a bit of a worry for me, especially since I live alone. So I do what I can to keep myself safe.I have an older, not very large tub, but I found that shorter mats just didn’t give me the coverage or safety I needed. However, this mat fits perfectly and covers the entire bottom of the tub, providing excellent grip and stability. No more worrying about slipping in the shower!Another plus is the gray color—it’s subtle and doesn’t stand out like more colorful mats, which I really appreciate.
