The idea is great. I used up 3 bags on a long camping drip. From the first day, out of the box, 1 bag had a slow leak. It did shrink right down, and the slow leak wasn’t all that bad, but it was still a leak so it didn’t use up that less space like in the advertisement. If all 3 worked, I would have absolutely given it a 5 star cause the amount of space it shrinks down to is insane. The vacuum is way better, but if you’re in the middle of nowhere and need suction the hand pump is not too bad. Your arms may get sore after a bit, but not too bad to make a full on complaint. I would recommend it with a warning that not all bags will work.

Worst everI bought these a while ago used one and sent stuff in the mail so assumed it stayed sealed but not sure . I have used 3 more now and they keep filling back with air , I would NOT recommend them at all. Can’t be returned now because of the time 🙁 buy the ones that your vacuum the air out .

I bought these many years ago and they always leaked, but these hold air tight! Comes with little tools that help you zip it closed completely. The material is very sturdy, even with the jumbo bag full of heavy bedding it never feels like it’s about to rip. I was able to get a closet full of bedding and pillows into 7 bags and fit them under the bed with room to spare. These make it so much easier to find what I need and makes bulky items so much easier to move around.
