I got this for my 15 month old and she enjoys it. I did have to take the keys for the lock away because I donât trust that she wonât swallow them but the rest of it is fairly safe. Nothing sharp and lots to entertain. Apart from the lock and keys there is nothing small to choke on.
I got this item for my 1yo but it is also very loved by my 3.5yo. This tells me that we will get a ton of usage from it.The first thing to note is that this item is clearly recognized as a house. And it has a door with latches that can open and close. This means that my older kid does a ton of play pretending that this is a house and saved me the effort of buying something separate for that. This alone increases its value. Then it has a range of things that the child can do and I have found most things to be great quality. My only complains are that 1) we were not able to install the disk at the bottom that allows it to rotate. This isnt a huge issue for me as I dont need it to rotate. 2) one week in and my child was able to pull out the buckle piece. Not a huge issue, but it could have been better attached.It did not come with instructions. It does come fully assembled though so not a huge issue but perhaps it would have helped with assembling the bottom. I also had to go back to the listing to understand that the lights it came with are for the Christmas Tree that goes inside the house.
This is perfect! All the design elements are great for a wide variety of ages. It’s very great for motor skills and critical thinking development. They even include a small lock that you can use to keep very young children from getting into the light up tree inside without supervision. This allows them to still play with all the other aspects of the toy but keep them from the one area that has any electrical elements. When they are a bot older than you either provide the key as a additional aspect of the toy or remove the lock. Overall lovely toy.
I like that this house has all kinds of things to mess with, babies just love it! Itâs very easy to put together. Itâs a bit wobbly because I missed a middle piece for it to stabilize. Overall I think itâs a great toy to have , it definitely helps babies to work on skills like opening locks, turning things . It helps them to develop different stills with 8 in 1 activity house. Itâs stationary , turning well. One thing Iâve noticed is that itâs not very smooth and can actually give a splinter to the little one. Not everywhere, but it does has spots that would be great to smooth off before giving it to the kids. Other than that, itâs a wonderful toy!
