When this works it is great I use it to keep an eye on my toddler when he sleeps while I do household chores etc as he can escape out of buggies and is trying to climb out the cot so this is helpful to notice as soon as he wakes I can go get him before he escapes and could get himself hurt but when it doesn’t work (quite often) then I can’t get much done for fear he will wake and hurt himself trying to get out where he is sleeping and also once out he could try to climb his sisters bunk bed, fall down the stairs or put something unsafe in his mouth etc so I dont stray further than the room next to where he sleeps so i can hear any movement and check on him lots which limits what I can get done in other rooms.
