Fantastic and fun alternative to strollers for walks
Opted for the whisper quiet version as my intentions were to use this around the house. It lives up to its name, fairly quiet and moves very smoothly from room to room. When my son got older we started taking this outside instead of using the stroller, he absolutely loves going for walks in this. The trunk storage in the front is great for holding snacks, baby bibs, spare pacifiers, my wallet and keys. The cup holder on the handle is unfortunately not very wide so wont hold anything much wider than your standard 750ml plastic water bottle. The two cup holders on the dashboard are wide enough to hold his sippy cups and are within easy reach for him.One potential issue I could see is the assembly process is more involved than I would have thought. I love building things so it was a non issue for me, but I had to use my hammer to push the wheel rods into the caps to get a proper tight fit.The only complaint I have about this product is making turns. As the wheels are fixed in a straight position, you have to apply a gentle downwards pressure on the handle to lift the front 2 wheels up slightly, and then you can steer it fairly easily.

My 16 month old daughter had been eyeing these cars longingly every time she saw them, so what’s a grandma to do? She now has her own car. She was thrilled when she saw it and now doesn’t want to get out. It’s easy to assemble (or so my son-in-law tells me) and sturdy. Just to see the look on her face made it worthwhile.

I bought this car for my 17 month old son. He likes it a lot as does my 3 1/2 year old girl! I was a little worried about assembly as the reviews seemed to indicate it was very difficult to put together. We had it assembled with no problems in 35 minutes, use a hard surface to put the wheel assembly together….it was no harder than any other toy that needs assembly. I was also worried about how big it would be as we live in a townhouse, but it is a nice size, my 3 1/2 year old fits no problem and my son has lots of room to grow into it, yet it is not a huge toy. Now that it is together we have used it fairly often to replace the stroller. I find that it is much easier and lighter to push than a stroller, it rides nicely and quietly. I like the fact that the wheels in the front do not rotate, I think that rotating front tires would make it harder to push with one hand. I don’t find it a problem to tip it back a little to turn. The plastic for the parent handle seems a little weak and I could see that being the first thing to break, also the squeaky horn is hard for my son to push so it actually makes noise (no batteries just a squeaky) it would have been 5 star fun if it had more sound buttons and a key or something, but other than that it is a great little toy!

This item arrived damaged Amazon will not allow me to return. Do not order from Amazon go to Toys R Us where they allow returns on this product. What a shame Step 2 good product but will never order again .

Me encanto. El bebe tiene que sentarse por si solo para poder subirse. Las llantas son silenciosas. El material es bastante resistente. Se requiere de pinzas, desarmador y martillo para su ensamble. Hay que tener cuidado porque una de las tuercas me llego fuera de la bolsa y estaba suelta en la caja, por suerte la encontre. A mi bebe le encantó. Compre una sombrilla aqui llamada versa-brella que se puede sujetar al carrito para tapar el sol al bebe.

ETA: My 20 month old grandson is completely OBSESSED with this car!!! He cries to ride in it and cries when he needs to get out of it. We get so many compliments everywhere we go about it. This is the best money I ever spent. Completely durable also! DO NOT HESITATE! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!Nice quality. Assembly took under an hour with no problems and was fairly easy. Nice and sturdy. Handle folds nicely underneath and I can even fit the car in the backseat of my Honda Civic. I bought it for my grandson’s first birthday and had it assembled at the party. All the kids were obsessed with it and all the adults wanted to know where I bought it. My grandson loves it (he is one) and likes feeling like a big boy sitting up and being able to look at everything on walks. The car is very easy to maneuver. We used it on both concrete and gravel with no problems. The trunk comes in handy for holding adults keys and cell phone when walking outside. Worth every penny.

This is amazing. We saw the red version (original) on holiday and I was pleased to find this new version for my son’s birthday in July. A little pricey but cheaper than some places like Argos. Smyth’s Toys had a link one for only £36 (approx half price) but no other colour sadly. However this from Amazon has been brilliant.Though my son is 4 it fits him well. But he is very small for his age, about 91cm and wears age 18-24 month clothes. This blue model has.more leg room than the original red step 2 car so it does last longer age wise. All in all a brilliant buy and my son *loves* it :-)Husband said it’s fairly easy to build (I’ll take his word for it!) and my son loves it. He is 4 heats old
