Iâve bought a lot of shoes in my time as a mom to 3 kids – this is the best close toed shoe. Supportive, fits well, and helped my little one learn how to walk because itâs stabilizing but also flexible. Love this shoe. Buying more sizes for sure.
I am only removing 1 star since the material at the front and back (the grey-ish one) gets super dirty and stained easily. Other than that itâs an amazing shoe for a first walker. We love Stride rite!
I purchased these shoes for my toddler in October 2024 itâs only been 4 weeks total that he has been wearing the shoes. The tongue of the shoe started to detach. Then the stitching started to fly out on the sides. I have two older kids when they were toddlers they wore the brand as well. I never found anything on the market that would bend with my babies foot the way this StrideRite does. I donât know what happened over the years but the quality of this shoe is not up to standard I am use to seeing and paying for. These shoes are not cheap but I thought it was worth it.
My 1-year-old didnât really like shoes. He prefers walking bare feet. However, he likes these shoes. I believe itâs because they are very soft. Sometimes he would even hand them to me and ask me to put them on for him!!For your reference, he started wearing size 5 when he turned 1. And he is now 13 months and they still fit perfectly.
These shoes fit my 1 yo perfectly! He can walk very good in them, they stay on his feet and he doesnât try to take them off. The Velcro reaches across the top and fastens (unlike some brands) I like how it has Velcro on the tongue too yo help it stay in place (nice feature). We got a size 5 and his foot measured just over 4.5 inches. Long thin feet.
