Great hat!
Love this hat, Fit’s pretty much toddlers from 1 1/2 years to 4-5 year old. It also has an adjustable tie at the top for smaller heads, or a windy day. I would recommend this product for days in the sun!

I bought this for my 16 month old son who has a curiously large head (I think 80th percentile at 12 month, 48.5 cm). All the hats I have tried have been too small for him.Pros:1. You can adjust the size of the hat so that it fits snugly and also it can be tightened so it doesnât fly off. Of course toddlers will pull it off but there is nothing you can do about that.2. The brim of the hat is very wide so it does protect my son from the sun which is exactly what I wanted.3. The cloth is very light so it doesnât feel âhotâ. I feel like it absorbs the sweat but then dries quickly so on hot summer days it works really well. We used it at the beach but never got it wet so Iâm not sure how that would work out.4. It looks very good – I think some hats donât look very balanced, this one is very nice and the blue color is perfect as it gets on the ground often but the dirt doesnât show much.Cons:1. The velcro strap is a very strange length. Itâs too long so it hangs very loose and doesnât serve any purpose. I am thinking of sewing on some sort of rubber band straps so it actually holds it. I prefer too long over too short so this is not too big of a problem for us. Maybe itâs for older kids.2. The hat seems a little shallow so it sits on my sonâs head and I feel like it will blow off at any moment. The synching makes it stay on. I wish it were a little bit deeper so that it fits better. Maybe my son has a huge head but it sits less than halfway down his forehead.Overall I am very happy about the quality of this hat along with the price so I give it a 5 star rating.
Our (1.5 year old) son is Mr. Shark, so what better than a hat that sharks show up on when it’s in the sun! (The sharks are always visible, but are the same color as the hat until exposed to UV rays, when they darken some.) This hat is awesome, provides great coverage, and has the velcro strap to help keep it on. His head runs larger (90+% for head circumference), and this fits well enough, with some room to grow since it fits loosely. The hat has a mesh strip in the hat (not brim) to help with ventilation, but he does get sweaty. (In fairness, he does run warm, so he gets sweaty fairly easily, and other hats are as bad or worse in those conditions.) We turned around and ordered more right away. We’ve had people stop us to comment on his awesome hat!
Fantastic summer hats for little boys. Lightweight and so not too hot and they dry very quickly. Broad brim. Chin strap to keep it on in the wind in addition to a bungie cord around the head to make it fit smaller heads. I’ve bought 4 for my two boys – ages 2 and 7 – I just have the bungie pulled tighter for the 2 year old, but if your toddler has a very small head it might be too large (mine has a big noggen :). These are the same hats that we bought at Costco in summer 2015 and at about the same price on Amazon – I was so excited to find them at a great price here!
Best hats for kids you can find!! My six year old has had one for several years and it is so well made. He wears it to the beach, fishing and never blows off on the boat. When I had my second son, I bought two more because I know we will get a ton of use out of them and they will last!
Really great hat. Lovely brim, perfect for my 2.5y/o. Only complaint is the bucket is a bit shallow. Shallow enough that I have to get it on his head *perfectly* or it will fall off. Which is fine, but it can be hard to get a two year old to stand still while you fuss with his hat! Once it’s on right, it does stay on with no problems, even in very windy conditions. The elastic adjusts easily, the chinstrap hangs loose, which we prefer as my son doesn’t like clothes touching his neck (this includes turtle neck shirts and scarves) though loose the strap if fastened would probably still stop the hat blowing away. My son has a 21″ head for reference. For the price though, it’s a handy hat!
