My teenage son has a loft bed and needed a place to keep a few essentials nearby like his fan/light remote and his phone that he uses as his alarm (with downtime and lots of screen time limits overnight) and a few other items.This has been the perfect solution. Itâs sleek yet the pockets are sturdy and practical. This avoided us needing to install a floating shelf in his room near his head.
I do not have a nightstand beside my bed, but I needed a way to store my tv remote control, my cell phone, and other items. This bedside caddy is perfect for this purpose. I have a metal bed frame, so I can attach the caddy to the frame by using the velcro straps. The straps are sturdy and hold the caddy well. The backing of the caddy is made of a thicker material so that the caddy does not sag when you put items in it. I have not tried to put any heavy items in it. Before you buy this caddy, make sure you have a bed frame that allows you to attach the caddy.
My son and daughter share a room and have a bunk bed. My son falls asleep right away and my daughter takes over an hour to go to sleep, so she usually reads on her top bunk. We attached this to the railing on her top bunk so that she can keep her book, book mark, and water bottle right next to her instead of her having to get out of bed to get these things/put them away. It’s been very convenient for her.
My wife commandeered this as soon as it arrived.The installation was super easy (barely an inconvenience), especially because we have mattress retaining bars on the bed. If you don’t have something you can wrap the straps around, you should really figure out where it’s going and how you’re keeping it there before you get it.It’s very low profile, and she says she didn’t know she needed such a thing until she saw it and started using it.
This is a great product to store all your kids’ odds and ends. The one downside is that it doesn’t work to well on bunkbeds made of wood. The back is Velcro with straps that are long enough we were able to figure out a way to make it stay on the bed. It has multiple pockets to store all the things.
