Two-Way Audio – The built-in microphone and speaker allow you to see, hear, and speak to anyone who passes by via the Wi-Fi camera (only support 2.4G WiFi) with live view and two-way audio features. Through the SwitchBot app, you can see who’s at your front door and how’s your baby doing.
Privacy Protection – This camera supports up to 128GB SD card local storage (SD card not included) and cloud storage. It transmits data via a secure channel with HTTPS technology, no data will be shared publicly through the Internet and no other devices can access your camera.

Reviews

  1. Nanny Cam and Dog Cam
This device has exceeded my expections for the price. My only complaint is the lack of lower range when remotely controlling the camera.

  2. Works well for the price
This thing works well for the price.I use it to keep an eye on the dog.Every now and again it won’t turn on so I have put it on a home automation switch that I can turn on and off.It was easy to setup.Audio and video are good and it can be panned and tilted.I use it on Android on an S23 Ultra and S22 and it works.Small, unobtrusive. Can ceiling mount.Low cost.Negatives:Must use their servers.Cant access it directly.

  3. Missing 1 thing …
Missing 1 thing, the feature or the ability to run on a schedule. Ideally, I would love to have the “private mode” turn on at a set time every day and then off at a set time. Lacking this one feature, other then that, it’s a good buy and would recommend.

  4. Didn’t work
Not compatible and the instructions are not that great. Wouldn’t even turn on

  5. Constantly disconnecting after repositioning camera
I really wanted to love this SwitchBot Baby Monitor Indoor Camera as I have an array of their temperature sensors which work very well, but unfortunately the camera has been a huge letdown. The main problem is that it constantly disconnects from my WiFi (yes, I’m on 2.4 GHz), especially when I try to use the 360-degree pan/tilt feature. Every time I move the camera to a new spot, it loses connection and then goes through a power cycle (does a full pan/tilt calibration), which is super frustrating. Even when I leave it pointed at one place without panning/tilting, it will still randomly disconnect without notice. I know this because it doesn’t capture any movement for hours, even when it’s aimed at an area that should definitely trigger it (i.e. street view, middle of the day). It requires a reset in the app to get it working again. The motion detection feature is unreliable as well. For example, it misses known motion events, like me walking out to my front yard to throw out the garbage.Overall, the frequent disconnects and unreliable motion tracking make this camera more trouble than it’s worth, especially at the non-sale price. I wouldn’t recommend this camera if you’re looking for something dependable.

  6. camera
    great view.

  7. Works perfectly
Works great with our other Switchbot items and the app. Wish the camera was 2 way talk though.

  8. Great camera and integration with Switchbot services
This camera is very good for the price! The app has great integration of the camera itself, motion tracking is very good. Camera quality is a little lacking, but I wasn’t expecting super clear 1080p at that price point. I like the two way audio feature too, where you can hear what’s going on and talk to the person on the other side. Moving the camera around gives you great angles, as it rotates in all directions.Switchbot is honestly a company to look out for. Their products are top notch and worth the investment!

  9. I kind of bought this on a lark as I love the SwitchBot button toggle. That one is actually my favorite smart device as it can start my record player remotely! So cool. The pan tilt camera is growing on me though. Originally bought it to establish proof of life for the cats when we are traveling. I wasn’t expecting much, given the price, but despite being cheap, it works pretty well. Good v1 design. It is super quiet and I love that I can save the video to a micro SD card. The remote access is pretty good, if a little slow to connect at times. Best of all, the tracking works! Easily follows me and my wife around when we leave it on and usually catches the cats too. I think it is a little spotty at night with the cats but we still get hits. I do wish you had more control over the sensitivity. All in, it is prob the best bang for your buck in the space. I mean it is a v1 design, so don’t expect perfection. It is an affordable and easy to use device that does everything I was looking for. Also the SwitchBot customer service is super cute. Nice job guys!

  10. Easy set up, connects to your phone even when you’re not on WiFi, love the rotating camera to look around. Works well, video is clear, sound is good.

  11. Have had this running for 2 weeks now, along with a Switchbot Mini, while I am away from my home. 5 days in, this unit went offline but the mini has been working fine. The only good thing I can say about this is that the video quality if excellent when it is working.Had someone to check on the house and restarted this camera so it’s back online. Will see how long it stays online this time. I have checked firmware of the camera and it is the latest. While someone was at the house, I got to watch video real time and got recorded video. I have to say I have very mixed feelings about motion tracking. When I am watching real time video, the view kept shifting because the camera detected movements. This became very annoying as it became very hard to see what I am actually trying to see. The the motion tracking video is disappointing as well. I included the one as example. When motion is detected, somehow camera first moves a bit in opposite direction, then a pause, then it moved the other way to catch up with the movement. As you can see in video, by the time it swings back, the person is already gone and camera wasn’t able to reacquire. Basically I got a flash of a person passing by and that was it. It would have been better if motion tracking was disabled. Annoying part is that this doesn’t happen all the time. 50% of the time it does catch the person again and was able to track the movement. It seems to me that these are all software issues that can be addressed easily. Perhaps motion tracking can be turned off when viewing real time and while it is being controlled by the app.The app is also disappointing in that I can only connect to one camera at a time. On the home screen, you get tiles of cameras available but you can not view the videos in the tiled format. So if you have multiple of these and watch to watch all corners of your house at the same time, this would not work for you. If these cameras work with another app that could allow you the tiled view, I don’t know about those yet.Edit: Have not gone offline again so that could be a one time incident.

  12. I am re-reviewing this item (08/01/2022)———-After contact with the manufacturer, my camera is working fine. When I input my WiFi password, it still puts up a warning. BUT, after a moment or two, that warning goes away and a QR code appears.I never got that QR code before. After letting the camera scan the code, which takes 1-5 seconds, the camera responded and began working on my network. Now my camera is working as it should. My phone, tablet (both Android) and Alexa Show can all work with it just fine.I am not sure what “fixed” the issue, but everything is working.I left the original 1 star review below, but NONE of it applies now. I would recommend this camera for it’s small size, good picture quality, low price and features.— Original review below. See above. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE, NOW! —I received my unit and within 20 minutes of trying to set it up, I am returning it.When it asked for my WiFi password, I was informed by the app that my password was “too long” and that I needed to make MY WiFi password shorter. It is ~35 characters longThe standard for WiFi passwords is over 60 characters.Needless to say, telling your customers to change their security to meet the product’s needs is just plain WRONG!If you have a short (and therefore a little more easily hacked) password, then go ahead. It may be a great product. But when a product demands I lower my security to meet THEIR needs, they can stuff it.

  13. The quality of the camera was great! The picture that came through was wonderful, exactly as described, lived it!But the UI (app you get off Google Play store) for the camera was one of the worst I ever saw. You can not access any of the recordings. Even when using a 1TB Micro SD card. The UI is hard to navigate to find where the recordings are to start with. Then once you do locate them, it’s empty. I accidentally left the UI open on there and after 5+ minutes, it started to load “something”. It had one recording from the previous day that it would loop. If I let it sit there at that screen for another few minutes, it showed on the time line wheel that there were more recordings I could scroll to now. But if you try, it won’t let you. It just repeats that single recording from midnight over and over and over, regardless how long you let it sit.The info for the SD card says there’s things being saved but I only get that one recording from midnight of the previous day and I have no control of it. I can’t find it elsewhere and I can’t even delete it. And then the next day when I try to find it, it’s gone. Only to be replaced with a new looping, hiding, undeletable midnight clip. Please make things simple. Don’t hide the recordings away. Speed the UI up. Let us be able to see and control the recording time lines with EASE. And if we’re using a SD card, let us be able to easily access the recordings on it and delete what we want from it without having to format the entire card each time
