Great replacement cord for my baby monitor!

The end of the cord that goes into the monitor is to long! My monitor need up breaking because of this!
I was a little reluctant to buy this after reading the inconsistent reviews, but it was cheap enough that I was willing to give it a shot. It turns out it worked perfectly for my Motorola MBP36. It came with a built-in connect for the monitor and an adapter for the camera. I plugged it into the monitor and it fit without any problems. Based on the complaints regarding it’s “fickle” connection I tried moving it around and it didn’t have any problem with that. It does have a small blue LED, but it doesn’t really bother me. It’s nothing a piece of black electrical tape couldn’t take care of. Based on the reviews I’m guessing there must be a production quality issue, or some people are getting a different brand or model. All I can say is that mine seems to work just fine.
I’d say that this worked great for 3 months before it died, but actually it did not. I bought it to replace the AC adapter to my MBP36 baby monitor parent unit (the original Motorola cord lasted a reasonable 2 years). This item never fit (half of the metal prong stuck out of the parent unit), but at least it powered the thing for a few months. Right before it ceased working totally, it caused a bunch of strange letters and numbers to appear all over the screen of the parent unit (over where the digital image would be). Hopefully it did not damage the parent unit; I guess I am stuck buying a different brand (no help from Motorola, which will not provide a replacement cord even for purchase).T-Power – if you are reading this, can I have a refund?
This power cord is perfect for the Motorola Baby Monitor MBP33 but is also works with many other monitors as well. For the MBP33, the adapter sticks out a bit but functions just fine. This replacement cord is sturdier than the one that comes with the monitor and should last for a long time. Very happy with this product.
Like the other commentors, the plug is a separate tip (ours was already attached) that is too long for the parent monitor slot. However, we have had zero issues with getting it to charge correctly, and it charges the battery even if the screen is on, which the old charger never could. I’d have given it 5 stars, but the blue LED is deafening in the dark, so we too had to cover it with a sticker. Still, if you need a replacement for your parent monitor charger, this is definitely worth trying.
I purchased this when our power cord for our Motorola baby monitor cord started to malfunction and would no longer charge the monitor. This cord works but as other reviewers mentioned, the cord doesn’t plug in completely and it has this annoying bright blue spot light whenever it is plugged in. Seeing as it’s usually plugged in at night when we sleep, we have to put pillows in front of it or it or plug it in behind the curtains. Otherwise there is a blue laser beam streaming into our bedroom! I have also noticed the length of this cord is shorter than our original. If they took the blue light out and made it a little longer I think it would be a great product.Thank God Motorola said they would send us a replacement cord. Once it arrives, this one is going in the trash!!
