This is great quality and adorable. Perfect because you can change out the toys and switch it up for your kiddo. The mat has decent padding although, it wouldnât protect a head being bumped on hardwood! Itâs washable as well. I am very happy with it!
I was between a lot of baby gyms. I didnât know which one to buy but ultimately went with this one after I read a review that said âitâs not too much in your faceâ. I didnât want something too overstimulating or something sheâd get bored of fast. Wanted something I could wash easily. Needless to say, itâs perfect. The crinkle mat entertains her forever when sheâs kicking it. The rattle bee is something she loves to take off and play with solo. The light up toy is calming and enjoyable that brings a smile to her face. And the lion is the cutest teether toy. If youâre on the fence-do it!
Baby loves the animal theme , the lion is her favourite and she also likes tummy time on it .. I like the theme and muted yet sufficiently bright colours.. itâs not over stimulating. One thing I would change would be the thickness.. of the mat. I found it a bit thin so I have layered a thick folded blanket underneath as I have a hardwood floor throughout. Might be better with a carpet underneath.

This isn’t my first baby item from Taf Toys and honestly all their items are really great quality, well designed, and very cute. You can get any of their items with confidence because they are great quality. Just look at the lion attachment for this baby play mat, how cute! Their items are always well packaged and looks like I purchased it from a fancy baby boutique store.This particular play mat is gender neutral, which makes a perfect gift for any baby shower. What stands out with this product is it has two slots to put colored or black and white “flash cards”. I’ve never seen this kind of design before! There is also a pull activated music/lights thing, which immediately makes this worth the price tag. It is priced right as many baby play mats, especially those without any electronic stuff to it, are already at this price range. This is well made and as good as any big name baby toy brands.I recommend getting this early, even before giving birth, because this is one of those items where you can start using it early on. The sooner you get this the more use out of it you’ll get. They’ll love being on it until they start learning to turn over and crawl. Depending on their development, you can probably get about 5-7 months use out of it, which makes this completely worth the price! Oh, and don’t forget to prepare two AAA batteries on hand before this arrives, you’ll need it for the little music box attachment.
