I’m a little on the fence as to whether this is teaching bad habits to children, but teethers gotta teethe and I have a lot of sympathy for poor helpless little babes whose mouths hurt and they don’t know why. I wouldn’t be happy either, and I can’t say for sure that I wouldn’t start gnawing on my remote, and mine’s not even made of silicone! Silicone is of course a great answer to teething. It can be gummed and gummed again without taking any damage. No matter what the drool situation, it always cleans up nicely. I like the bright colours of these remotes, and the buttons are realistic, even if the little dino imprint is not (and yet still my favourite part). The back of the remotes held a surprise – indentations of numbers! So it’s a two-sided toy that washes well and looks sharp and may slighly encourage babies to put other household items in their mouths, not that babies need much motivation to do so as it’s practically they’re part-time job.

This has become his favorite toy and wants it all day. I love the fact that the material is food graded silicone and since it is soft there is no risk of injury.
