This is a unique baby teething toy. I don’t know that I would classify it as montessori, I think that’s become a buzzword. That’s not to imply this toy isn’t good and doesn’t serve a purpose, but rather it doesn’t fall under the montessori school of learning. There are a great number of different textures and shapes for baby to grasp or mouth. There is auditory feedback which is helpful in drawing and keeping baby’s attention. I appreciate that it’s easy to clean. It was slightly smaller than expected but not small enough to be hazardous or difficult to grasp/mouth.
